What a treat for vegetarians to enjoy a set menu at a fine dining establishment. We reserved way in advance and even then could not get the date we wanted (my birthday). Plan ahead. Food and service were excellent.

This restaurant is unique in old Khmer house. French chef who made a point of coming to each table to speak with guests after the meal. Wonderful staff and a really great meal!

Joannès has done it again.. It now has BECOME the reason to go to Siem Reap rather than a place to eat whilst you visit the temples. He never ceases to surprise his use of the local ingredients which dont come from so far away..The highlights were the great use of seafood in pancake style and pan fried lake fish... More

We booked this restaurant for valentines evening following many positive comments from friends who live in Siem Reap and we were not disappointed. What a wonderful place this is. We each had one of the fixed menus and the food was definitely Michelin star level, we couldn't praise the chef enough. We had a lovely dry rose wine and met... More

We visited cuisine wat damnak on our final night in Siem reap, I can appreciate it is expensive for Siem reap after our previous 2 evening meals with drinks and tip had totalled approx $9 per person, but this is a different prospect and not really comparable to the dozens of very good but basic Cambodian restaurants dotted around. After... More

My partner took me to Cuisine Wat Damnak for my birthday dinner and what an incredible experience. The staff were excellent and go to lengths to accommodate their customers. And the food.... WOW! From textures to flavour combinations - they nailed it. The head chef came out and spoke to us which made the experience even more personal and special.... More

Food was superb - great combination of different textures and flavours. Love the fusion of Western and Asian ingredients, spices and cooking methods. Service was a little curt but Chef-owner Rivière's personal touch more than made up for it. Highly recommend to make reservations in advance as we saw many turned away. If you decide to go on a whim... More
