We had a bit of effort to locate the place but we were so happy we found it! There was a friendly greeting from the owner, excellent service and plenty of people to liven up the dinner.

Pizza and pasta here felt authentic and quality is very good. Location is little bit inside pub street but easy to spot. Small place though but we managed to get table.

Excellent pasta and pizza, entrées and gelato at this place, in an ensconced alley off pub street. The only issue is the AC room upstairs was closed, and we were profusely sweating in the heat! But good ambience and overall quality of food and service...More

Based on the reviews we went here for dinner one night. I found it hard to find tucked away in a back alley of pub street and then after that the foods was OK. Nothing amazing, left a bit disappointed to be honest.

4 cheese pizza was delicious. Definitely enjoyed the parma ham wrap! The best part for me was that they served service water which seems so rare in Siem Reap!

Great pizza and pasta. We ordered a carbonara spaghetti and a margherita pizza. They came perfectly tasty. The price is ok too. Highly recommended.

The food here was excellent. We tried the burrata which came with prosciutto and was as good as anything you'd get in a big city. The pizzas we tried were also on point, wine good and cheap too. Highly recommend this place when you're craving...More

The food here was amazing and the service very good. Although it is a little more expensive than some Italian restaurants it is worth it. I'm gluten free and so pizza and pasta is off the menu for me but there were so many different...More

I was somewhat surprised that our friends who have visited Siem Reap on many occasions wanted to bring us to “il Forno” an Italian restaurant on our first night out. Perhaps they were just trying to make us comfortable? My husband is an (Australian born)...More

Hi Antony. I apologise if my comment about the credit card was incorrect but all 4 of us were of the opinion that we could not pay by credit card and we only just had enough cash between us as we always pay by credit card. The meal was great, service great and a free Limoncello at the end.

Description
We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.
