I ordered the garlic trout and was surprised at how amazing it was. Would go back again in a heart beat for the trout.

Only the trout was good, the sides, like in all local restaurants, consisted of a small simple salad, rice and french fries. However, the fries were really oily and did not have any taste. If you want to eat cheap, go for it, but don't expect good food.

Too expensive for what they offer. I rented the room for a couple as I am not very good with sharing :-) Room was small with the a TV and cables hanging all around, but this is a "Bolivian thing." Room was also VERY COLD. My bedding didn't look clean so I had to use my own special sheets. At... More

Friendly service in the centre of copacabana. Had the trucha as recommended and it was nice although as per usual it was served on a bed of white rice and undressed salad. In any case, very cheap so worth the detour.

We ate here for lunch after arriving in Copacabana from La Paz. I knew that the trout from Lake Titicaca was excellent so I asked for a recommendation for a good place to eat and was given the name of this restaurant. We were the only people eating there as it was kind of mid-afternoon. We both had the trout... More

Run by a local family and not workers, it is not gourmet food, but it is very tasty and they try to prepare bolivian dishes, a change from pasta and pizza, it is very economical and huge portions....Since Copacabana is not the place to be trying a variety of restaurants, read tripadvisor reviews and stick to the recommended options...
