We had out of town guests and wanted to take them out for dinner. If I had known how bad our experience was going to be, I never would have come here. The place was almost empty when we arrived. The dining area was run down and did not give the impression that cleanliness was a priority. We were offered... More

We love either ordering enchiladas to go and visiting the restaurant often. The food is delicious! Service isn't always the fastest, but for a small town restaurant it is what I'd expect.

This place has been around for years. It was in a different location but the first time I ate there was back in 1979. That says something about the place. The food is excellent.

If you are looking for Tex-Mex--this isn't your place. This is authentic Mexican food--it's not spicy--the spice is in the sauce. The tacos and tortillas are as close to Mexico as you will likely experience. They have been in business for at least 40 years--they must be doing SOMETHING right! The service can be a little slow as the place... More

It's close to the hotel. And they gave our large group a private room in the back. But the single salsa is pretty much tomato sauce out of a can, and they have no Tabasco or other hot sauce to bring out. I had to really work to get them to bring me enough to slather my meal with. Service... More

Very good. Looks like a small family-type restaurant. They were able to see 8 people quickly even though they seem to look small. Food was good.

A little expensive for average Mexican food. Friday night and they only had three servers. Some people who came in after us actually got their food, ate and left before we even got our food.

This restaurant has been serving the Albert Lea community for decades and has a large following of people who have been going there so long that it's "comfort food" for them. This is absolutely fine if that's what you're looking for. Personally, I find their food to be bland, tasteless, and a shadow of what I expect in authentic Mexican... More

We have been eating here for many years and it's the best. The cheesy nachos, burritos and enchiladas are our favorites.
