We come here for our desserts after picking up dinner at Zingerman‘s delicatessen next door. Absolutely love their cupcakes and their pie is good as well. Can’t wait to return in 2024.

I don’t understand the hype surrounding this place. The latte was extremely disappointing - thin and lacking flavor. If you value good coffee/espresso, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Great coffee, cakes, and snacks. Very comfortable and the staff is terrific, very helpful, and friendly.
Zingerman’s Next Door is the coffee and tea place beside the delicatessen which is great but also expensive. It seems the as prices are get out of reach all over and here is no exception but the quality is very good and staff are great....It’s about what you’d expect in Ann Arbor.More
Right next door to the deli and sandwich Zingerman's stop, you'll find this little spot for cookies and pastries and coffee. Picked up some cookies and chocolate croissants to bring back to friends, and made sure to try one of the croissants for myself -...probably one of the best I've ever had - packed full of chocolate, so good. Zingerman's clearly has their game figured out.More
Chocolate croissant was off the hook. We also picked up some apple pies to take to our hosts on our way to visit friends. Pricey, but memorable for the recipient.
This old house was purchased a few years after Zingerman's open the Delicatessen in the former neighborhood meat market cum grocery store in the iconic brick building next door. So this house became the Zingerman's Next Door. You can order drinks and pastries and eat...them right here (on main floor or upstairs) or you can order any of a hundred or so sandwiches (and side dishes!) at the Deli next door and they will deliver them to you here, or outside, or in the Deli-- don't worry they'll hunt you down and shout out your name. They also sell sorbets, gelato, candies and tee shirts here.More
We tried Zingerman's Next Door for dessert and unfortunately probably won't return. Six of us chose one slice of pie or cake each which totaled $44. I don't know if it's just the Zingerman's hype, but we really expected some great tasting desserts. This was...not the case. People who had pie said it was pretty basic and the two of us who had cake agreed that it didn't have much taste and was extremely dry. Maybe you have to visit Zingerman's once when you go to Ann Arbor just to say you did it, but once was enough for me. It's a very charming place, the whole area is, but I think it just falls short on quality.More
Great tea and varieties offered. As well as a large selection of coffee- pastries - desserts. Items in shop to buy cute too!
Five seconds inside the place and you will already be drooling. Everything is delicious beyond description. Best of all, staff are friendly and there is plenty of seating. It's really a fantastic place for a sweet treat. The affogato is heavenly. A shot of espresso...over their house made gelato (and you can pick the flavor!). I can't describe how tasty this thing is. Many places serve this dish, and if you somehow find a better one on planet earth, I want to know about it!More
These drinks are off the chain, too good! The prices compare to Starbucks or any other high end cafe.
We were in Ann Arbor on a cold Saturday and wanted a quick cup of coffee and something light to eat. Zingerman's Next Door was a good choice. If you have never visited before, step back and watch the process for a few minutes. You...order at the counter, pay, find a seat, and wait for your food. Some day when the line does not wrap around the corner, we will try a sandwich at Zingerman's regular deli next door.More
This was one of the best hot drinks I have had in a longtime. It was like eating pancakes doused in maple syrup.
The 'next door' is cool because you can eat outside and they serve you--quite pleasant. It is a nice little sunny patio out of the wind. Servers are pleasant and cozy atmosphere.
We stopped here to pick up some breakfast takeout before visiting my sister. The food is awesome, but the flow of people is very confusing. We will come back to this place next time we visit Ann Arbor.
