Very lively bar. Lots of locals and foreigners. Good atmosphere. Not very typical Bolivian, but a good place to hang out.

Taco player to share with 4-5 people was absolutely delicious!!!! Must try. My husband got the Bolivian spicy chicken which came with fettuccine. The chicken was absolutely delicious but not a good match with pasta..... Better with rice We had 2 for 1 happy hour mojitos which were strong!! Slow service.... Like most places in Bolivia... However the place was... More

The biggest menu we saw in Sucre so they'd surely be something for everyone here. We chose a couple of local food options and it was really good. We'd go back here again.

The dish was a traditional dish for Christmas and it was very very good! The staff was helpful and happy. The music selection is the only thing I'd recommend them to think a little more about it! :)

We went to joyride for drinks the place seems cool, however the music selection was terrible, songs kept repeating, there was a big problem with volume from space to space on the speakers, 90's pop mixed with Latin rock then reggaeton def a place that will not let you relax if you enjoy good tunes at a bar...we sat upstairs... Arrived in Sucre and immediately stumbled upon this place. Had some great one litro beers and a great bolivian dish and... BITTER BALLS. They were not as good as in Holland, but they did a pretty good job, cheers to that. Great atmosphere as well. Not your typical Bolivian joint, but perfect for backpackers.

Every tuesday and thursday they offer a free salsa night, beginning with a lesson and after it free dancing. It's from 21.30 till around 1.00 and it's really nice. The whole room was full yesterday. There a travelers and Bolivian people and especially when you're a girl, it's really nice to dance with a bolivian guy, since they really can... More

We visited Joy Ride multiple times during our 4 day stay in Sucre. The bar has a couple of rooms where you can hang out, drink and eat. Especially the patio is really nice! We really wanted to watch the documentary The Devil's Miner before heading to Potosi (which I would really would recommend to watch before visiting the mines).... More

With a Spanish/English menu joy ride cafe seems very geared up for travellers (their motto is 'not just for gringos' so obviously most people that go are backpackers) yet the staff couldn't understand my simple Spanish and didn't seem to speak a word of English. That would have been ok if the food wasn't so cold I had to send... More
