I'm not a vegetarian, but I like to try and eat healthy when I'm traveling. I came here for the menú del día (20Bs) twice when I was in Sucre. The soups were a little bit bland, but the main dishes were pretty tasty and filling. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to get away from some of the fried... More

Here they a have a nice vegetarian three-course lunch for a small price. Expect it to be busy during lunch, so come early or late. You can also order from the menu, if you don't like the lunch of the day. In the evenings you can order form the menu, they have quite a few of vegetarian dishes to choose... More

Sure it has a great lunch menu deal and if you're desperate for vegetarian food in Sucre I would say go. Yeah the service is pitiful and I thought the food in general was kind of meh but its a good value and huge portions so for the less picky among us this very well may be your new favorite... More

The food is okay, with nice local varieties. But sometimes you had to wait for a very very long time before they served you. And I mean 1hour+. So, only go there if you have nothing else planned for that night.

I ate here numerous times. The vegetarian food is excellent, but don't expect speedy service - especially at night. Sometimes there's only one person working who seems to do everything!

Try to get here early, or else lunch is likely to be all gone. But it is definitely worth the wait if you need to pace around until a table is free.

My boyfriend and I were in Sucre for three weeks and I have lost count of the amount of times we at at El German. We are vegetarian and are constantly looking out for even okay vegetarian options on our travels but El German went above and beyond. For almuerzo, at a price of 20 Bolivianos you get a jugo,... I am not a vegetarian, but I strongly believe that they deserve to eat as well as non-vegetarians. This place was simply appalling. We went into the restaurant and the lights were off, despite there being a paying customer already eating there. We asked the lady there (cook and waitress - the only staff member!) to turn the lights on... More

Firstly I will say that we went here on a public holiday so I'm hoping that explains the fact that this was solely run by one woman, doing serving, cooking and all. It is a small restaurant with very basic style. The food was lovely and very good value, no complaints there. But take note, they don't sell water (or... More

We had a very good dinner in this restaurant, which is not right in the centre (about 5-10 minutes walking). They serve local food with a great vegetarian choice. Especially mention we would like the Tofu-Curry as well as the dishes with Quinoa. To drink we had a very good Bolivian-Wine for a really good price! We highly recommand this... More
