Visited at Iftar on a Thursday Mall of Emirates, restaurant fairly empty, nice servers but menu's were old and held together with tape. Not much for new items on the menu ordered our old favorites still good but not done with the care they used to display in the past, but still good.

We had seafood fried rice and prawn Yaki Soba. They made the Soba spicy, both were very good. We enjoyed.

Experience was good and I would go back again. Food was very good and they made lovely milk shakes and strawberry ice tea.

I dined in with my girlfriend and we enjoy the different options of food starting with sushi and having a nice pasta for Main course. I enjoyed the seafood pasta. The only downfall are the servers which they will just look at you or pass by without doing anything.

Japengo cafe at Dubai Mall: relaxing, nice food, good service, charming view over Burj Khalifa. Any time of the day. Indoor or on the terrace.

Dined in the Ibn Batutta mall branch and shall be coming back! Every thing I ordered from the miso soup to the maki, sashimi and sushi are excellent! The Filipino staff (forgot his name) at the time of visit was also very well trained and suggested some dishes to try.. I was happy about the service and most of all... More

We were there with friends. We waited 40 min for club sandwiches. The other Asian dishes were very bad. And the bill was overpriced 280 aed for 4 dishes 2 persons.

I had dinner at Japengo today and I have to say I'm surprised these guys are even still open. For 3 people with the use of an entertainer voucher, it still cost AED 500, for a food court restaurant. The food was below average, we had about 8 pieces of sushi, 2 Arabic dishes (Kofta and Chicken) plate of fries... More

Having lived in Dubai for several years, I have to say that in any of the Japengo restaurants you will be satisfied. There are several Japengo's around the city and all belong to the same chain. Food is really good and the price is reasonable. Go there and you won't be disappointed.

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
