They serve delicious Mexican food and the outside sitting option is too good. The ambiance transports you to a different country and you don't feel like you are in Dubai. Any Mexican dish you name it they have it and it a gastronomical delight. Highly recommended.

I went to this chain in New York around 4 years ago and loved it, so was over the moon to find out they had a restaurant near my hotel in Dubai. I'm a big fan of Mexican food, and On the Border is definitely my favourite Mexican restaurant chain. They had so much tasty food which was so reasonably... More

Staff and service were very good. I highly recommend the place nice and clean. You enjoy sitting outside at night only of course. Watch out your order. The dish portions are huge. Good for you if you are starving

Went to this place as it was our first night in Dubai and this place was ideally located across the road from our hotel. Probably the best mexican meal I've had. Starters were nice and generous portions. Food was freshly prepared and spicy just how I like it. Would definately visit again if I'm to return to Dubai

On The Walk in JBR. We enjoyed the food and service here. Reasonably priced, good menu and food. Family friendly but also good as a couple. 350 aed for 2 adults and 3 children, main course, desert and tip. Bottomless soft drinks also a bonus.

We went there for our first dinner in Dubai on this visit. The location is on a street corner on the lively "The Walk" on JBR. This restaurant has a good reputation for their tex-mex food! We got an excellent welcome and service from our waiter Youssef, who also had a good sense of humour. The food was very good,... More

Normally we really enjoy this restaurant for North America's version of Mexican food. If you want to check this place out I would recommend the taco salad, burritos, the tortilla soup and even the complimentary chips & salsa are excellent. Refillable ice teas and the service staff try their best. In the cooler months its a good spot to sit... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
