This is my first visit to Tsunami. I've had their take away menu since last year, but I never had the pleasure of either dining there or ordering take out. Was able to go there in person- which is the most preferable option for me....Their menu is so varied and expansive, with as many different types of sushis you can imagine. Honestly I was so spoilt for choice! I decided to go for Ebi Tempura (Sushi), Flying Eel (Ura Maki), Naked Salmon Crispy (Ura Maki), Special Ikura (Ura Maki), Red Harbour (Ura Maki) and Spicy Scallops Crispy (Ura Maki). I ordered the Coco Passion Mocktail. The sushi was absolutely sublime! Everything tasted really delicious, with velvety, melts-in-your mouth salmon and scallops. The sushi at Tsunami is definitely world class, fresh and authentic. The mocktail was lovely as well; very creamy and smooth- just how I like my drinks. The ambiance of the restaurant is very accommodating. Though plain and simple, everything looked orderly and squeaky clean. I loved the wall that seemed to be a tribute to Japanese Anime on the left side of the restaurant. It added a fun, retro and cool view to the otherwise sparse environment of Tsunami. Service was decent. I was served by LEI. Lei was polite, but wasn't the friendliest of waitresses. I was the only one in the restaurant, but 2 of the 6 sushis I ordered took quite a long time to emerge. Perhaps because they were the ones that required cooking/frying? I guess I shouldn't be too harsh on a fast-food type eatery, which Tsunami sort of is. Anyway, I won't hold that against them. Regardless of the 'not-so-hot' service, the sushi here is da bomb, and I look forward to returning and sampling more of their huge array of options. When this restaurant first opened, we gave it a try and found it to be quiet nice. The food was fresh and well presented. Tonight, we decided to order some sushi via the Zomato website. The photos tell the story. Our food came as if...it had been through a hurricane. Further, it wasn't very good and the Spicy Tuna Temaki was plain awful. Even with the 20% discount for ordering via Zomato, for the quality of what we received, we still over paid. I won't be ordering from Tsunami again.More

Was expecting more from Tsunami, overall experience was good. Service was good, kept for waiters to run it, food was presented in a good shape, selection was a bit limited.
