Nice location overlooking the river. We ordered 2 meals and after 20 minutes they came over and said they didn't have any baguettes left. Surely they could have told us earlier? Slow service, tables that ordered after us got served first. After half an hour one meal had turned up but the other still hadn't. The food was ok. When... More

Situated next to the mekong river, it is a great view. On the other hand they got our order wrong and they did not smile or said thank you.

There are two types of travelers in Laos--those having an adventure at any price, and those wanting to save every penny so they can stay longer. This place serves both. Come at 12:15 before the lunch rush and take a riverside table so you can watch the fascinating show of the people, produce and cars being loaded on the every... More

Location, location, location! At one end of one of the main roads in Luang Prabang, it is not so crowded and noisy as many of the others nearby. The view over the mekong is one of the best at sunset. We visited it three times and the food was adequate to good. Service was fine and friendly. Like all other... More

Bland, tasteless food. Nice view. While we were eating a parent at the next table helped his son pee off the balcony. Right beside us. The staff and manager/owner completely ignored me when I brought the performance to their attention. Bon appetite?????

This is a very nice restaurant that is right by the river. The Mekong weed is great and the grilled Mekong fish in honey is good. The food is fine, but nothing grand, however the location and the ambience in the late afternoon are hard to beat.

The restaurant is on a great spot, the riverbank of the Mekong. It looks nice. We ordered as a starter garlic bread, but it came as last and was cold and old. We also ordered two main dishes. When the food was ready they left it on the counter for 10 min before they served it, so the food was... More

Food is mediocre. Server made several mistakes, was severly confused and spoke no english. Only plus is a nice vibe and a good view.

Stopped in for breakfast. The menu is reasonably priced. The location is right on the Mekong River with great views. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food.....just ok. Nothing special. Omelette was not properly mixed and was more like a mixed fried egg. Baguette was not fresh which is unacceptable in a place like Luang Prabang where fresh bread... More
