Very pleasant restaurant to sit in, and the service was good. But I'd say the food was only average - the quiches were small and the cakes uninteresting.

We ate here after offering food to the monks. It was open early. I had baguette, edam cheese and ham, my girlfriend had fried eggs. The food was really fresh and delicious. The coffee was also quite good. Prices are reasonable.

We went here for breakfast and coffees during the day. The muesli with yoghurt was terrific; great service, free local newspapers and lovely cakes. It never got too hot in the restaurant. What's not to like?

My husband and I were looking for a place to have coffee and a treat and happened upon this place. We ordered the lemon tart, eclair and iced carmel machiattos. We were very impressed by all! It's legitimate! We sat on the front patio chatting, using the WiFi and people watching. It's a little off the main busy area which... More

Second floor is an escape from the busy road. Chilling up there with cup of coffee and eating tasty lemon tart will stay in my memory forever.

We had a latte and tart which were great. Sat and watched the world go by! The lemon and coconut tarts were really good and true coffee perfect! Enjoy this place.

Great restaurant with a good selection of meals incorporating Laos / Asian favourites with French influenced breakfast and meals. It is a lovely building with very friendly staff.

Jan 29 Via golf cart, courtesy of Hotel Mekong Riverview, we arrived in front of this colonial-style resto with a small terrace but a well-lit, atmospheric dining room. The hardworking and efficient staff quickly set up a long table but we were not sure for how many settings. Like my wife, I had the pad Thai noodles. This was a... More

Selfish photographers are a plague that frequently seek to grab the moment with little regard for others. Luang Prabang have so many that abuse local traditions. This evening I was appalled at the rudeness of one of my favourite restaurants that had a professional photographer outside with a long lens taking promotional photos of guests. Even when I approached him... More

A bit expensive but good for breakfast. Also has vegetarian options and the portion sizes were good. Staff is a little chilled out so you need to be a little patient.
