If you are looking to try some of the local foods and tastes, this would be a good place to start. I would presume that this quality and standards would be meals from the more elite of the community. This was a good meal. Street food is also available down the road and at the market area ... all was... More

After not being able to find the restaurant I was actually looking for I decided to try this place, should have kept looking. This place is very expensive for this town, price is comparable to the US. I tried the set menu number 1 which included a stir fried eggplant with pork if I remember correctly, Lao version of Tom... Sat on the 2nd floor overlooking Luang Prabang and enjoyed a perfectly fine Laotian meal. Nothing spectacular--but good food, good value and decent service. We left happy.

Our lunch here was very good. The staff was most attentive. We had a 7 course lunch of typical Lao food. One of our courses was steamed fish in banana leaf - it was delicious!

The restaurant have 2 floors. The best seat is at the terrace on the 2nd floor. Overlook people living in the old town Luang Prabang, The atmosphere was great. There are very few terrace table, better make a reservation. Food, services and price was ok. It is not different from the other.

My partner and I order the Beef Orlarm ( stew ) and the Ua Nor Mai ( crispy fried bamboo shoots ). Both dishes were very nice. The fried bamboo stuff with pork was very different to anything I have tried before with unusual sour taste. I wish we had found this restaurant earlier in our stay as they had... More

Down in the Paris end of town (UNESCO area), this lovely place is on the main street in an old French colonial building. We sat on the terrace - wonderful atmosphere. Excellent service and superb food. Can't remember what I had but it was something with noodles, and you added your own amount of chilli to taste. Extremely tasty, great... More

Very happy to have found this restaurant, which also operates a cooking school and trains young people in restaurant work. As vegetarians, we were very glad to see numerous vegetarian options beyond the predictable and repetitive dishes offered on the majority of menus in town. Intriguing vegetable combinations and very delicious sauces. Service was tentative, but we realized that these... More

The food is so so but the service is terrible. The staff stand around watching videos on the cashier's phone. He is the only one that speaks sufficient English but does not assist the staff at all. Twice the incorrect meal was delivered to my table. Once with pork when I ordered from the vegetarian section of the menu. The... More
