Visited this bar twice on our stay. Excellent knowledgeable waiters took pride and pleasure in pointing us in the right direction in choosing superb wines to accompany our cheese platter. We also had a meat platter which we both enjoyed. A great place to escape the heat and sit back and watch the world go by.

We are wine enthusiasts but last time we visited Croatia eight years ago we only tried house wines as the grape types were so different to ones we knew but on this visit we were determined to try some of their high rated reds and whites. It was therefore very lucky that we were staying round the corner from Paradox... More

We heard about this wine bar, so went after dinner for some wine and cheese. It is a small place located on a side street just on the outskirts of the old town. The waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and had great recommendations. Service was slow - as there was only one waiter helping all tables. It was... More

We (group of 5) ate & drank at Paradox several times on a recent visit to Split. Lovely cold platters of meat, cheese, olives etc. Helpful and knowledgeable advice on wine choice. Highly recommended

This small wine bar is located on the outskirts of the busy, pedestrian streets of old town. It is a little quieter here. From a bar stool on the veranda, you feel on top of it all. The wines are interesting, but they didn't knock my socks off. What really made this memorable was the food-pairings; a really interesting assortment... More

The best possible venue to enjoy some excellent wine and great bites. Goran is a great host who gave us an formidable journey through the fine wines of Croatia, accomplished with superb food. We would recommend everyone to visit this great place!

At the foot of the alleyway where we were staying is Paradox. My daughter had visited before and said how good it was. Good wine, good cheese and some quality cold meats made for a pleasant supper. We sat outside on stools around a raised table although there are normal table and chairs under cover but also outside and an... More

It’s a stylish little wine bar, which offered a light alternative to fish and meat dinners. They have a good selection of Croatian wines and local cheeses, which we enjoyed a little too much when it came to the total bill! It’s good to book if you are sure you want to eat hear. Although they do take walk-ins.

Myself, my husband, parents & sister spent a couple of hours here last week. What an amazing array of wines and cheeses. Spoilt for choice we started with a local Rose to cool down whilst we perused the menu properly. We then went for 2 of the local mixed cheese platters, with some delicious jams (who knew!!) and lovely dry... More

Wine, cheese, good service and a nice ambience. What's not to like. Really charming spot which is not too busy and I would have loved to have gone more than once:)
