After visiting Antigua, we stopped by Casa Santa Domingo and viewed the Cultural Park. All the walking made us want dessert, so we popped in to El Tender del cerro...it was a good decision! My choice was chocolate cake with ice cream and a berry sauce - it was amazing! My colleague chose an apple crisp which was also delicious.... More

The whole venue is worth the visit, lots of good art, paintings and sculptures, nice setting, pleasant to walk around... now the dining is a completely different story, servings are tiny, the steak is dry and has no flavor, the dining room can be pretty cold despite the heaters so wrap up warm before going there! All in all too... More

This is a hill top located restaurant. Offers free shuttles from Antigua back and forth leaving from Hotel Casa Santo Domingo. Affordable and good food, this is definitely a place to go when going to Antigua for a chill out day.

Only a shuttle drive away from the center of Antigua, this place is a must to do. The climb up a very steep and curvy drive is an unforgettable experience. The views are stunning! The top of the hill yields great views of Antigua and the volcanoes. There is a museum, restaurants, rest area, give stands, etc. You could easily... More

You will go up up up to get to the top and boy, is it worth it. The view is perfect and the food was wonderful. I do wish we would have had a little more time to spend- the grounds are beautiful and there is some wonderful artwork all around. I ordered the beef tenderloin for dinner and my... More

Our group visited the restaurant for dinner on our last night in Guatemala. And what a last supper it was!! Having eaten too large a lunch, I was not very hungry. If I'd know what was in store at El Tenedor, I would have skipped lunch altogether! I ordered the quesadilla appetizer. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked, and... More

We had decided earlier that today would be a quiet day. After breakfast, we walked down to Casa Santo Domingo and caught the free shuttle up the hill to Santo Domingo Del Cerro. The ride up is quite steep as the road climbs about 500 feet above Antigua. At various parts of the road up, there are works of art.... More

We have been here several times and always enjoy our visit. The view is amazing. On this visit, we were able to see the volcano erupting- very fun! The food is good - although the best selling point is the view. The pizza is tasty.

Sadly my reason for visiting was for the breakfast but i was too late(overslept!). i decided to stay for lunch. I was quite disappointed with the menu selection however was not disappointed with the food and the views. The little market there had great little stuff but very touristic, the hot chocolate is a must or even their banana smoothies..wow... More

You have to drive to this pace or take the shuttle from the Casa Santo Domingo Hotel. It is located in a top of a hill. You can overlook Antigua and the volcanoes
