It is amazing! Set in a seventeenth century building it has the most beautiful sitting area in all of Antigua! tables are set outdoors facing a large a beautiful garden. A perfect quiet oasis where you can escape to sit and relax with a capucino and pastry if not the usual McDonald fare.

We visited here a couple of times and were constantly in awe of the size of it. Food is good and cheap.

Hate to admit it, but in a city full of great restaurants, we did visit the local McD's on three separate occasions. Believe me, it wasn't for the culinary fare, but they had the fastest and most reliable wifi in town! And you can bet we took advantage of it when required.

I would never have gone to McDonalds but I was asked to meet some friends there. If you go into the main entrance turn immediately to the right and they have a small specialty coffee and desert area. I had a cappuccino and cheesecake. The cappuccino was excellent- make sure you taste it first before adding any sugar - it... More

Had the privilege of visiting the McDonalds in Antigua Guatemala. It was awesome, the courtyard is very large, with a fountain in the center and Ronald McDonald sitting in the sun. I would say it's a must see in the city

Great McDonalds. Food was super fresh and tasty. Friendly cashier. Free wifi and you can order via the self service kiosk.

We stopped here for a quick bite, really surprised when we went inside how big it is and then to find an enormous garden which was just so beautiful !

This mcdonalds is likely just as terrible (as far as food quality goes) as every other mcdonalds. Other mcdonalds dont have incredible view of volcano's though. Grab a book, but an ice cream if the hassle you and relax in their outdoor eating area. Beautiful view and a nice fountain.

Apparently only recently demoted to the world's second best McDonald's (beaten by one in Chile), this is not a normal dismal McD restaurant. McDonalds is branded in a much more upmarket way in Central America (as they can't compete with the super cheap street food on price), and focus is more on the experience and healthier options. Indeed people come... More

I typically don't go to McDonalds, but, my roommate is a diehard fan. I was skeptical about getting fast food... BUT, I was proved wrong. The service is phenomenal and speedy and the food always tastes fresh. While I typically don't condone fast food, if you have a craving from home, this is definitely a place to divulge and quell...
