This was our group's third visit for dinner to this luxurious restaurant and we have not been disappointed! The upstairs dining room in this antique former residence with its high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, yellow/melon walls and understated decor provide the best setting for a wonderful dining experience. The menu says that this is a cell phone free restaurant. We... More

Our first night on Nantucket is alway at Le Languedoc Bistro. Great location in the middle of town, great staff, and the food is worth writing the mainland about. Jimmy at the bar is the perfect host, bar tender, jokester, and all around good guy! The kind of guy you can leave your daughter with. Just not too long. The... More

We never miss dining at Le Languedoc when on Nantucket. Their escargot app is divine but don't even think about NOT ordering their signature Lobster. To DIE for!

After a thanksgiving week of eating, our dinner here was perfect. My husband and I each chose a salad to start...blue cheese for him, beet for me. Then we shared a charcuterie and cheese plate. The meal was exactly what we wanted. Their bread is fantastic, filled with bits of warm garlic. There was plain warm bread too. The cheeses... More

We both enjoyed Languedoc. After a weekend of turkey I deceived to have the chopped salad with buttermilk and blue cheese dressing, it was excellent! We then shared a cheese plate and charcuterie which was also delicious. But - the real highlight of the evening was the ice cream sundae with chocolate and toffee topping. Excellent wine list and a... More

Every person we spoke with RAVED about Le Languedoc! Highly recommended by Lyn our magical inn-keeper, we had a reservation at another restaurant, that happened to be closed for the season and called us to cancel. Make reservations, because this is a year-round restaurant because EVERYONE wants to eat there (and I think they do!). 3 floors of tables, first... More

Definitely a Restaurant you must visit when travelling to Nantucket. If you stay for more than a week you should try a couple of more plates from the menu. The staff was very efficient an the meal was superb.

The food and service were excellent! The preference of my GF's uncle was to sit at the cozy bar... He was right! All of our food - seafood, sausage, salad and dessert were delicious. Ciggy(so?) was very attentive to our every need.

We recently had dinner here and were seated near a window upstairs. We loved the decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the special duck confit with quinoa, over the top good. I also had the beef salad and my wife had the lobster bisque and pea risotto. We finished dinner off with a butterscotch sundae. We... More

I'd only been to Languedoc once before and loved the food then, but it took a chilly October night to lure me back on my own. Reservations are a must, but I was lucky to snag a seat at the bar. Not only was Jimmy, the bartender, the most friendly guy, but the entire bar was a friendly, not drunk!,... More
