First time visiting I ordered the Chowder, I know that it has fish and clams so it tasted a bit fishy compared to clam chowder and if the clams were fresh maybe one wasn’t cleaned very good because I got something real gritty like sand...More

Every dish was perfect. The chowder has a unique and delightful flavor; the duck pastrami was unusually fine — both texture and flavor: the corn beef on rye was thick and tender in great combo with the gruyere cheese. The beet salad had an amazing...More

I've visited Stone's a few times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Their Irish pizza is good (and can be made vegetarian). I had their grilled ham & cheese and substituted sliced apples for the ham (I know it sounds...More

We have been going to Stones for 26 years. The last few times have been poor, bad service, average food. But we kept hoping it would improve. Saturday we decided to go - as we both really wanted a good Guinness. We ordered our Guinness...More

Haven't changed menu in years. Only thing good is the Burger. Lobster salad is skimpy on lobster. Price is high for Lobster. Atmosphere is good.More

Great food and drinks. I ate the salmon with mushroom risotto and grilled asparagus. I drank the Kris Pinot Gris. My boyfriend ate the fish and chips. Everything was pretty good. Nice ambiance on the patio, and the waitress was pretty good. Over a solid...More

Wasn’t fussed either way! Visited with a group of friends didn’t think the menu choice was great and it’s a bit confusing with a couple of Irish choices thrown in to try and be authentic then really no clear direction, staters included a Sausage Roll!...More

Hi David, Thank you very much for the feedback. I will be looking into what may have contributed to the slow service as we take that very seriously. Though not an excuse, the 7:00 hour is the peak of business and we are constantly looking...More

Not bad, not great. Good. We came here for lunch yesterday. Two of us had the fish and chips and another had the steak sandwich. All were fine. Plates were loaded with fries. We sat outside in the patio area not crowded at all. Our...More

Great atmosphere and waitstaff, but the menu has been the same for years. The lack of variety and high prices really diminish the place. Unfortunate. How hard can it be to add a few new dishes to switch things up and keep it fresh?
