This is a lot of restaurant in a single location. It is a traditional family restaurant in one section and a sports bar in another. It has a function room for events like bridal and baby showers, retirement parties and holiday get togethers. The menu has every comfort food you could imagine, from outstanding appetizers, to flatbread pizza, to meatloaf... More

My friend took me to lunch for my birthday at the Abington Ale House. The menu always seems to have new options. I had a turkey club sandwich which was huge. I opted for a change from French Fries and got their tasty onion strings. My friend got chicken parm sliders which was something new since my last visit. Pleasant... More

My wife and I were in Abington for my daughter's cheerleading. Prior to the game my wife and I decided to make a quick dinner at the Abington Ale House. It was a great decision. Parking was tight due to Halloween and Barrett's Haunted House, but we got in quick and although busy, the front desk worked to get us... More

Found this great place you need to try. The atmosphere is great and the food fantastic and the service outstanding. We had the Patty Melt and it was a very generous and delicious sandwich with fries. It was a great place. we will absolutely go there again.

The food is good. The menu changes so you get different choices. In the nice weather you can sit out on the deck. Nice place to go out with friend. They have a great haunted house in September and October next to the restaurant with special deals for both. Also if it's your birthday you get your dinner for free... More

There were four of us for dinner. Two of us were celebrating birhdays on that day. The two of us received our dinners on the house. That was a pleasant surprise. The food was okay. The steak was cooked well but chewy. Chicken parm lacked flavor Schrod which two of us had was the best choice. We dined on the... More

There were a lot of cars in the parking lot, so we figured it must be pretty good. I cannot honestly tell you WHY there were so many cars in the parking lot, I'm guessing it's the only place to go in Abington on a Saturday afternoon. Decor, reminded me of an old Ground Round, minus the peanut shells on... More

We hadn't been here in awhile. Abington Ale although no having a great view for outdoor dinning nonetheless does a great landscaping job and frankly as a Security Director makes me feel more comfortable enjoying there outdoor dinning Vs. going into a Metropolitan area. As indicated we hadn't been there in a bit as early in the summer a hostess... More

Nice selection of draft beers and an attractive inside seating area, with an optional outside patio. Service was fine and the menu selection about what you would expect at a pub. Nothing outstanding ordered in our group - just your usual fare served up efficiently. I had the Rueben, which was quite good - but should have passed on the... More

Went here with my family on Monday night. The decor was horrible to the point of distraction. I really can't fathom what the motif is that they are going for here but it made me feel like I was peering into the mind of a seriously disturbed person. Seriously disturbed....... Their bread was great and so was their selection of... More
