If you haven't been before don't be surprised as you travel thru residential areas for quite a way before the marina/restaurant. It was cool and wet when we were there so we stayed inside and sheltered. It would be great to be sitting outside overlooking the water, but if it was nice weather a lot of others would have the... My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at The Point on Easter Sunday this year, enjoying the view of the marina while having some tasty fresh seafood. We started with the crab dip, then ordered a half dozen raw oysters, a 1/2 lb of steamed shrimp, and split the fish and chips entree. The crab dip was disappointing... More

The Point is located directly on Mill Creek giving any seat a view of the water. The menu is somewhat small, but the dishes are well executed and some are seasonal and take advantage of seasonal freshness. I'm a big fan of the fish tacos which are nested hard corn tortillas inside a soft tortilla for texture to complement the... More

Nice location on the water, high energy, good food lots of fun, Not a fancy restaurant but lots of Maryland ambiance. In good weather and in bad it is a good place to enjoy outdoor dining.

The hubs and I visited this place on a whim and we are glad we did. I ordered then cream of crab soup and he ordered deviled eggs with crab. The soup was super thick and had had chunks of crab meat throughout! Wow it was delish and hearty. I should've stopped there but eyes were bigger than my stomach.... More

We came here last minute for dinner with a group of friends. We were told there was a short wait so we sat at the bar for a few. We waited about fifteen minutes before we were called to our table. The menu isn't very big, but the choices seem pretty good. I had a delicious crab cake, though it... More

Drove through classic DMV rush hour traffic to get here (if you can take Rt 50, there's a carpool lane), and because of the cooler weather, the usual wait for a table had evaporated. Caution: during summer time (or nice weather), expect to wait a while for a table. The restaurant is on a dock, with garage door-like walls that... More

Great food and a great environment. I highly recommend having some of the dip and trying out the seafood or just popping in for drinks. The staff is courteous and the food was delicious. Decently priced menu as well.

On the river facing west. Great place to watch sunset. House salad lacking accompaniments- mostly mixed greens. Mussels were delicious but at less than a pound per serving you only get 14-16 mussels ( some of shells were empty). Shrimp dinner was plentiful and spicy. Crab soup had a consistency that my wife found too thick. Crab cake was meaty... More

This visit was incredibly disappointing. Have been here numerous times but this last time was poor. The crab soup had no crab in it, the pickles were very greasy, the BLT sandwiches were lacking much substance, the fish tacos were awful- even though one was taken home, it was thrown out by two of us. Bummer.
