My brother flew in and we met some friends in Annapolis. They took us to "high" tea in the afternoon. It was wonderful. We were not rushed, the tea was wonderful as we all got a different pot of tea and the food was wonderful to nibble on. I would certainly recommend gong there just to sit and have a... More

I suppose there is some charm to eating in an old house in Annapolis. However, Annapolis is full of restaurants in old houses, so pick another one. There was not much that I was pleased with. The tables are entirely too close, the old wooden chairs are not comfortable, and the entire atmosphere could politely be described as stuffy. There... More

We had dinner reservations for a party of four and enjoyed the food. I get that it is almost 300 year old building, but the place could use a bit of updating. It reminded me of the places my grandmother used to frequent. I had the crab cakes and they were great. Also I tried the spiced pumpkin soup and... More

Food was quite good but my appetizer was so large, it was enough for a meal all by itself. The shrimp and grits was delicious - so I ate the whole thing and had no room left for my entrée. Suggest splitting an appetizer if you even have one. Even with just an entrée, might need to take home some... More

We went to Annapolis on 9/2013 to go to the Court House to get our marriage license. We had lunch at the Reynolds Tavern because of it's close proximity to the court house. This wonderful Historic Tavern is a shining Gem in down town Annapolis. My Partner and I both had the Crab Cake Sandwich. Instead of french fries I... More

A fun place to have lunch with friends. I had a very unique, and delicious sandwich - slices Granny Smith Apple, with cheddar and feta cheese grilled on white bread. Yum. My friend had a Fried Green Tomato BLT. Friendly, historic restaurant.

My husband and I were looking for a dog friendly restaurant in Annapolis. All of the restaurants along the main road were full and loud. We kept walking and discovered the lovely back patio of the Reynolds Tavern, and it was empty! We had a wonderful attentive waiter, great beer, delicious food and also delivered a bowl of water for... More

My husband and I were recently at the Reynolds Tavern for afternoon tea. We enjoyed the scones, the quiche, and the sweet treats. They had a large variety of tea to chose from. The service was good, but not great.

Went here for tea and scones. Both were very good as were the sweets. Prices were good for tea. Enjoyed it and will definitely return. Service a bit uneven, but ok.
