Was driving from Baltimore to Ocean City, MD and wanted to stop in Annapolis for lunch since my wife had never been there. While i had been a couple times, I admittedly didn't have much knowledge of great places for lunch. After looking over some...More

Great Meals and Drinks, on a funky place decorated with a Nautical Theme. Parking on site is tuff but street parking works. Best Crab Cakes and Softshell in Annapolis.

Went here because of high rating on TA, you did not disappoint. We were a party of two we had a flounder BLT & a crabcake sandwich. Crabcake sandwich was market price of 18.99. Pricey, but if you love a good crabcake, not those ones...More

Good spot. Solid atmosphere with a chill, fun boating vibe. Seafood is good. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Sat at the bar for a quick bite. Had the coconut shrimp- batter was bland and not sweet at all. The dipping sauce had no flavor to it either. Place was extremely noisy with young college aged kids getting their happy hour fill. I think...More

Enjoyed appetizers and dinner at this local hub with a lot of flavor, great staff and decibels on steroids for Kentucky Derby Day. Had oysters (good); crab dip (also good) and striped bass that was excellent. Very attentive staff that made you feel welcomed and...More

Stopped here on a Sunday for an early dinner. The place was packed and quite noisy, however we were able to get a table right away. The restaurant itself is nice and bright with large windows around a good portion of the dining room. Our...More

Annapolis has an abundance of places that serve ‘bar food’. The Boatyard is the same but has a happier, cleaner, brighter and friendlier atmosphere and fresher tasting food than others. A log time local favorite and a good place to meet up with friends.

I assume that crab cakes are $23 for a plate with 2. Best to check the menu online. I have discussed the crab cake quality with my friend who is a Maryland Girl. She says that the Boat Yard crab cakes are in the top 2 or 3... More

Description
The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.
