Good food, large portions, great service, our server was Jen. She was fast, polite, and attentive. We had chicken wrap, seafood bisque, calamari, deep south burger, wings, and chicken gumbo.

We took a ride outside of New Orleans to get a break from the tourists. Abita Springs is a cute little town north of the lake. We had tried Abita beer before and were excited to have it from the original brewery. The restaurant was surprisingly good. The portions were large and everything was delicious.
Our server, Patrick, was the greatest! He was so patient and even got us the recipe for the rum butter sauce that was on the bread pudding. We shared barbeque crab claws, which were spicy and delicious. We paired this with chicken and sausage gumbo. Had a crafted beer and a rootbeer. It was so good, that we think that... More
Two side salads with remoulade dressing, shared cup of shrimp/corn chowder, shared roasted pork sandwich, New Orleans IPA and Purple Haze beers. Good food with large portions - plenty for two average appetites - and courteous service.
Stopped in after visiting the brewery nearby. Evidently they moved years ago. Now different owners. Great service. Very quiet on a Wednesday night almost had the place to myself. Had Ryan's Jambalaya. Very good but a tad dry. Veggies were good and the seafood cornbread was unexpected. Also the Caesar salad that was included was fresh and tasty. Washed it... More
I was surprised at the wide variety of beers brewed by Abita. When you take the tour of the brewery you'll be given silver "doubloons" that you can redeem for small glasses of a variety of beer and hard sodas. In their pub you can buy from a much bigger beer menu, anything from their Abita light to a coffee... More
We enjoyed a very nice lunch after our tour of the Abita Brewery Tour. The food and atmosphere was very good.
Our daughter's Mandeville High Cross Country team ran a couple cross country races through an undeveloped part of Money Hill this fall. But, eventhough we drive right past this brew pub to get there, this is the first time this year we were able to stop at the Abita Brew Pub for lunch when it was not too crowded. It... More
I ate and drank there three times over the last week, as I was working nearby. Very much felt like a locals joint. Food was mediocre; nothing especially good or bad, but must qualify that by saying I only tried a couple of items.
