We happened across this restaurant while walking in search of a place for dinner with a group of six. We decided to take a chance and entered blind. We were all very glad we did! The sat our party immediately which surprised us all. The food was excellent, service great and the atmosphere wonderful. You don't have to wander aimlessly... More

Returned there after a long absence ... nothing has changed, the food is still superb, we had calamares, the suckling pig and corvina with onions, everything great. Good wine list and competent friendly service. Even Angel came out of the kitchen to chat a while with us. What more could you ask for, really?

If you like Spanish cuisine, this is a good place to go in Panama. The gambas al ajillo are very good. There are other great items on the menu and the service is excellent. A bit pricey, but worth it.

I was in Panama City for only a couple of days, and wanted to have seafood which is my favorite. I decided on another "restaurant" that ended up being a tavern that did not look very safe from the outside, so I asked my driver to recommend a place instead. He told me about Via Argentina, which has many restaurants... More

My daughter and I were walking the downtown in the city center and were attracted to the classy entrance, so we went in and decided to have dinner. This is a very classy restaurant with wonderful, tasteful decor, impeccable service and a wonderful international Spanish crusine. We had a fine seafood meal and superb ceviche to start. The wine list... More

Business visitor group. Good atmosphere. Good service. Food was good but definitely overpriced relative to other good Panama restaurants. Good for quiet dinner.

Good food, not the best you've ever tried. Service is really bad so be patient. For the price I'd had expected something better. However food might save the day.

My favorite food in Panama is pulpo (grilled octopus) so the local families typically suggest a restaurant that offers this dish. Angel was without question the best restaurant I've been to in Panama City, from the food to the atmosphere to the service!
