Just as if you were going to your Aunt's house for dinner. The food is good, GREAT service. This ladies treat you like family. Homemade desserts and a nice garden you can sit back and relax.

The food is good. Pasta, pizza. I am not a big fan of Italian food so am hesitant to comment but we've eaten here several times and have found El Rosal to be a quiet oasis in the city with excellent service and a nice atmosphere. Please note we are usually there for lunch and it might be more crowded... More

Cozy ambiance, excellent for family. Home made pasta is outstanding but wine list limited. The only problem is not air conditioning in the premises.

I went to this place by a recommendation of a friend, and he was right: the food here is excellent! You can experience all the flavors of the original Italian cuisine.

Had not been here for about 20 years, but I'm really glad they continue serving one of the best pasta in San Salvador. The place is located in a nice zone, and the restaurant is clean, nicely illuminated and ample. No overcrowding which is nice for me. Also, it is quiet, just some ambient music that allows for conversation. Love... More

the first time I went to this restaurant I wasn't really impress about the location or the décor...but as soon as we order and I smell the fresh cilantro, basil and other herbs on my appetizers I fell in love of this place, now every time I go to El Salvador I make sure to have a dinner there...awesome place,... You should try Basil & Tomato Pizza, or Anchovies & Mushrooms Pizza. If you ask for a beer, it comes with a delicious mini-pizza. I have tried pasta, it's good, but the pizza is unbeatable. Service is so-so, but you will forget that once you try the food.

I have gone several times, the pizzas take a while to come to the table but the wait is worth it. I would go again

This cozy little restaurant has been one of the go to places for a couple of generations. The food is as authentic old school italian as you'll get in El Salvador. The lasagna is magnificent and the pizzas are definitely worth a try. The pasta is all homemade, so you'll notice a big difference while eating here. Recommended: lasagna, pizzas,... More
