I understand Mango Cafe is now operating out of the owners home in Lami ( near Suva). She lost her liquor, entertainment and food licences for constant breaches so I would be very wary of eating at her new place. Hygiene issues would be a...More

Unfortunately, this lovely venue has been closed. First, they lost their liquor license; then their entertainment license. The final blow is that they lost their food license. It was a nice venue, with good food and atmosphere. There were local musicians who played from time...More

Bula Grant M, Thank you for your review and kind words of sympathy. Yes we are now closed in Nasese, but rest assured, Mango Cafe is not closed for good. To give you the true story on our untimely pause.... 1. We had a "Provisional...More

The food was solid, if you want to experience a true taste of Fijian food, this is where you get it. The service was truly acceptable, our waiter struggled a little... but it's forgivable, practice makes perfect. The atmosphere was quiet and tense, like a...More

Nice to sit outside but the coffee was average. Smoothies were better and the kids seemed to agree but I'd avoid the coffee next time.

Mango has beautiful local food (and Western too, if that's your thing). The decor is modest, but if you want a local Fijian experience that's a plus. I give it five stars - most of all for the food and the authentic hospitality.

this café has that feel of a Fijian family inviting you to their home for a meal. Especially Sunday feast --where you can select from many dishes for $25FJD. It is a lovely water front walk then left at the Roads Ministry.

We happened upon the Mango cafe last month while visiting Fiji. The food was authentic and very very delicious, and the staff was amazing. It's my new favorite place to eat in Suva! Way to go Mango Cafe!

Change of owners saw the end of music and alcohol at this venue. It has inside, outside and upstairs seating available. upstairs can be good for meetings during the day. It offers Sunday lovo lunches at a set price.

We stumbled across Mango Cafe and made a reservation for the Fijian buffet lunch. It was a great spread of local food; the kokoda, ika in lolo, lamb curry, baked kai in lolo and baked eggplant in thickened lolo were delicious. We finished everything off...More
