My friends, especially Cook Islanders love this place!! -- and so they should, the food is great and so is the service. While I can't point to anything I could criticize -- it just wasn't my kind of place . . . But I'd certainly recommend that my friends try it.

If you love ribs you will love this place. We went here and there was 4 of us and we all had drinks and mains and deserts and only cost us $110.00. Food was great.

Cafe Ariki is a few streets back from main st in Avarua but locals come here and you get a great feed for low cost. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy night and for a table of 10 all our meals arrived together which was good. Very much recommend.

This was our first time dining at Cafe Ariki, we had heard from others that the spare ribs are great! and they were not wrong, prices and resonable and meals are big. Kids friendly, we ordered juice for the kids which came in a one litre bottle which worked out cheap for 3 children - even a plastic cup was... More

Had a nice lunch there with friends on a rainy day and a pleasant coffee/muffin afternoon tea the day before (when we could sit outside).
