Service in MVD is lacking, but La Casa Violeta is a welcome exception. The meat is fantastic, cooked perfectly and the wine is reasonably priced. Salad bar is ok, the real star is the meat. Q colleague also had a really delicious ravioli.

This restaurant is very nice and somewhat expensive. However, the entire meal from the wine list to the desserts delivered an amazing meal. The restaurant overlooks the water, so ask for a table near the window.
