After a lovely walk( less then 1/2 mile) along the river we were warmly greeted by Melissa (co-owner with husband who is chef) in a big bright welcoming space. The strawberry lemonade put the biggest smile on my 11 yr old's face that never waned through an appetizer of sweet potato fries, amazing pumpkin ravioli and house made fettuccine...ending the... Everything I ate in this Restaurant was excellent. Pumpkin Ravioli the best and the Cesars Salad and the Minestrone not far behind. The Strawberry lemonade, mmm. The Atmosphere could be better and also the service, it was very off and on. Still, I definitly would go back to eat there. Excellent to go with a group of friends, because there... More

This instantly became my favorite restaurant I've been to. The vibe is amazingly relaxing and friendly, the artwork is some of the coolest I've ever seen, and Tim and the staff are just the nicest people you will ever meet. I had the pumpkin ravioli and the vegetable lasagna and they were both some of the tastiest meals I've ever... More

We made the tricky journey to this restaurant because of the rave reviews on trip advisor but were exceptionally disappointed by the very cold reception we received even though the owner was there when we arrived. He never acknowledged our existence. The waitress was lovely but we did not enjoy our experience.

This is by far the coolest spot to eat around Pisaq. There are nice outdoor and indoor spaces a fireplace sofas next to it, gorgeous. Now the raviolis are dangerous, you may not be able to stop eating them, i fortunately ran out of money so I did not kill myself eating them. The desserts are sublime. Everyone at my... More

Tim, from San Francisco, prepares great food in the Trattoria Escondita. I had a chicken parmesan which was enough for two! Good wine, also.

As you wind your way out of the small town of Pisac, you turn onto a dirt road and wonder how could anything as good as Trattoria Escondida be located here? They have a menu that will meet anyone's tastebuds. The minestrone soup is perfection - nothing needs to be added to enjoy this warmth of goodness. The deserts are... More

Food is always delicious. Dishes are fall in love-able. The trucha (trout) is amazzzzing; same goes for the veggie lasgna and pumpkin raviola... and the cesear salad. Tim is really wonderful and puts so much love and attention to the details of everything he makes. The ingredients are top quality, many things coming from local organic farms. The chocolate volcano... More

The service is superb and the food exceedes all expactations. They serve the best vegetarian lasagna I ever try. The trout is also a must with a chocolate volcano for dessert. Thanks Tim for nurturing everyone with love and great food.

It was such a treat to find organic salads, fresh pasta, and other yummy homestyle dishes in the middle of the Andes. The chef and his crew are very warm and friendly. I also loved the cozy corner with couches, amazing espresso/lattes/cappuccinos, and good WiFi. Highly recommended!
