The ceviches and tiraditos were just sensational. Main courses were ok and came with more rice, yuca or potato than the guinea pig, fish and fried seafood (a big disappointment) we ordered. We spent a good while trying to understand the strange but original menu. In the end we would have preferred to have only ceviches and tiraditos because they... More

Visited Pescados capitales with our friends on our last night in Peru and were not disappointed. The place came highly recommended and it has clearly earned its reputation by offering great food at reasonable prices and excellent service. The food is basically seafood although it does have some poultry and beef (also pork). The ceviches are excellent and I particularly... More

This is a nice seafood restaurant. We had sea bass, great! the ceviche was really good too and also the drinks. Enjoyable lunch and it has a boutique where they sell very pretty jewelry. A little expensive but worth the try.

I went there with high expectations and maybe I had idealised the place a bit - I found an ok ceviche (but without enough leech de tigre and not seasoned right, to many onions despite asking for less), a very good octopus with causa, as well as a good seafood saltado. The appetisers, wantan, tequenos and parmesan scallops were good.... More

This restaurant is famous for its fresh seafood and excellent pisco sours. This is one of the best places in Lima to try a traditional ceviche or a tiradito They also have a great variety of cooked local fish, everything is fresh and delicious.

I had high expectations of this place, but I was disappointed, the food was ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. I went to this place with my family and no one of us was really please with the food, they took almost an hour to bring the food, and didn't offer anything to eat while we were waiting. The... More

This used to be up to par with all the other good places on surrounding blocks in La Mar avenue. This (December 2016) was probably my third or fourth time there. I was there with 2 buddies, so we ordered 3 or 4 dishes. The first thing that pissed me off (I guess this is not new) were those corny,... More

My wife and I recently visited Lima and obtained reservations thru our Hotel in Lima to have Dinner at this spectacular restaurant, it is worldwide known for the quality of food and service, the Octopus I eat was just incredible, the Ceviche just outstanding, the service #1 and the place impeccable. I suggest to obtain reservations even before arriving in... More

First off charming as cat in a tux and slippers! Had two different ceviches and chicha! Then ordered some wanatanes that were warm and a Peruvian Asian masterpiece! For the main course we choked down some fried fish that was light, crispy and blended perfectly in local seasoning. Yes the place was packed and the food not to crazy as... More

Peru is a country that has a long tradition of sea food. If you are visiting the city and enjoy the sea food, I strongly recommend you to go to "Pescados Capitales", its rustic and cozy atmosphere will captivate you. Once you arrive there, the first think that will bring your attention is the menu. The dishes name are related... More
