Tanta is one of my favorite rest in Lima. My 4year old son loves it. Food is very good and staff is excellent. Lomo saltado is amazing. The cebiche is really good. The deserts are not that good. Btw, when they sell you a plate of alfajores they charge you separately instead of the whole plate as one.

One of many restaurants owned by peruse largest celebrity chef gaston. Pros: wide menu selection. Peruvian dishes with a twist. Cons: none really. Would recommend

This was our first meal in Lima and it was absolutely amazing! Our waiter recommended the plates and it was absolutely amazing! We tried ollucos, which we had never had before and the chains was simply delicious! It was a delicious meal!

Really surprised how Tanta has reinvented itself from the deli/salad house it used to be to a proper bona fide restaurant with a cracking menu to boot. Paella was had by PB which apart from the chorizo, which could have been a little more authentic was excellent fare. MB had the Aji de Gallina and LB Beef stew with kidney... More

I was invited to go for a business lunch. I was not disappointed at all. I asked for 'tequeños' and they were great, fresh and crunchy. My main dish was a 'lomo saltado' you should definitely try that. The taste of te vegetables, meats spices and the 'rokoto' chili was superb. I cannot express how delicious it was. I had... More

This restaurant is in the tourist district of Miraflores. The food was well presented and very good, considering all the food allergies I have. The waiter was patient and listened to my food allergies and made some suggestions. They have a list of fruit drinks (pure fruit juice) that were amazing. I wish I could go back for the drinks... I was in Lima and a local recommended we meet here for lunch. He did all the ordering, so I'm not sure what all we had, yet every dish was lovely. We started off with a Ceviche Classico made with the freshest fish and traditional flavor I didn't know how spicy it would be and ended up ordering some additional... More

Peruvian food at its best. Excellent selection of seafood as well as other entrees. Try the desserts and you won't be disappointed.

Lima has so many great restaurants. A group of friends took us to Tanta and it was definitely a wasted dinner. The price is high for what is offered. Service was ok. Food was good, not great. iIf you have limited days in Lima, don't waste one of your meals here.

We really enjoyed our late lunch at Tanta in the Miraflores area of Lima. The menu was somewhat limited but the choices reflected diversity of cuisine rather than just Peruvian food. Being tourists, we wanted more local dishes and so went with one of the daily specials, Pescado a lo Macho. This was a big piece of grilled fish topped... More
