Incredible. The food here is awesome! When you eat, it tastes like it was made with love, passion, and patience. The name “homemade” is perfect for the quality of food you will receive; additionally, the service is above and beyond. It has the feeling of a family owned business and you feel truly welcomed when you visit. I have eaten here multiple times now because I prefer the quality here over even the most expensive restaurants in Peru.
I am a foodie and have been staying in Peru for months, once I found this location I became hooked. Please try the Shakshouka, burger, cinnamon roll, and alfajore. The burger comes with sweet potatoe fries … you can choose savory or sweet — the fries texture and taste were the best I’ve ever had. I’m VERY picky on my food and hate spending money on food that leaves me unsatisfied. The list of food are everything I’ve tried and I love it all!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Also, the staff are insanely sweet and allowed my girlfriend and I to leave our luggage there for hours, while we walked around the area.

Except for the dessert, which was served to me on the verge of burning.... everything was fine.
The problem is the waiting time, almost 50 minutes.
I took a friend because I always had great attention and this happened.
They have to be careful.
Even when I commented to the lady that the dessert is very very hard she just smiled....too bad!

This is a great cute neighbourhood cafe that our local friend introduced us to. We had a delicious churro-style French toast, which actually was crunchy and crispy like churros, and a tasty alfajor. The lavender latte was delicious with the nice touch of actually having lavender flowers in it.

I usually go to lunch quite often. I literally arrive and feel at home. It is my space during the day to eat healthy and disconnect from the office. The waiters already know exactly what I'm going to order and they spoil me.

I was looking for a new place to have a celebratory breakfast and I came across Homemade...hecho en casa. The have ample breakfast menu that includes english muffins, a rarity in Lima, and very tasty gluten free bread. The juices we ordered, with no sugar added, were fresh and quite delicious. My wife ordered a scrambled egg, with ham and cheese on an english muffin and enjoyed it thoroughly. I ordered a spicy sausage omelette and gluten free bread which i devoured with gusto. The Americanos we ordered were well prepared and an excellent compliment to our breakfast.
I certainly would recommend this to both the traveler and the resident as a very nice place to have a breakfast.

I first went to this place two years ago and it was amazing, the service you wouldn’t believe it they had every detail but this year I went with my family and the place is really decadent the service is super bad and they changed the menu a bit. I truly think they are losing their vision or their motivation. Hope to see or hear about some changes the next time I’m in Peru

I found this place by accident. I highly recommend Homemade! I've only had breakfast items but everything is fresh and above average. It's not your run of the mill food, she takes it up 10 notches! It's off the beaten path and very small, we sat outside. I think this is one of the best hidden gems in Miraflores!

The place is charming and looks like “grandma’s house”. A nice family feeling. Food was good but nothing too special. Service could have been a little friendlier.

After a walk around Malecon de Miraflores, this is the best place to start your day with great breakfast and then with a full belly deal with that great City that is Lima. I will try some of the other diches in the future.

Go for breakfast, get the cinnamon roll and sit on the patio. It is the cutest little cafe with great food and service. It was pretty empty when we went - we were the only people on the patio.

Great little breakfast place with a good variety of food on the menu. The coffee was a great pick-me-up and the scrambled eggs and toast I had were delicious. Although the wait time for my food was a bit long it was worth the wait.

My husband (coeliac) and I dined here many times for breakfast and dinner as it is one of the places on TA that has many gluten free reviews.
The breakfast portions (scrambled eggs, waffles) are huge and delicious, and kept us full until dinner!
We also had the steak and burger for dinner. These came with either hand cut potato or sweet potato chips which are sooooo yummy (if you’re into chips!)
We would definitely recommend this place for gluten free diners, they also have gluten free bread and cookies, we didn’t try these so can’t comment on taste but they look good!
Will definitely be back the next time we’re back in Miraflores.

It is difficult to find good poached eggs in Peru. After several online searches I came across Homemade in Miraflores.
The service was very good and all ingredients are organic and homemade - like the name.
