The Saqra is a charming restaurant in the Miraflores section of Lima. It's a small restaurant with intimate seating. We really enjoyed our meals, however the wait staff was slow to bring our drinks (wine). We had to wait until half our dinner was completed. The restaurant was not crowed, it may have been just an off night. My order... More

Food is very good, portions are not too big. Service is very friendly but in our case really a bit slow, even though there were not many guests. The garden is quite nice for that area.

Came here for dinner with my husband. The staff were lovely and the restaurant buzzing with lots of people. Shared a plate of ceviche to start which was delicious. For main my husband had pork adobe, a nice piece of belly pork with a sauce and some fingers of bread, no accompanying veggies and none I could find on the... More

I found this place on TripAdvisor of course. We came for an early dinner. It was not busy at all and we were seated right away. Service was fast. The gal that served us was very nice. I ordered their Aji de Gallina and I forgot what beef dish my husband got but both were delicious. The only one thing... More

My group of 5 adults made an early reservation to Saqra on a Monday holiday night. The food was delicious, but the menu was limited. The wine was good, but very few selections from Peru. At 6pm the restaurant was not crowded but the staff would not let us choose were to sit. Odd. Check out the bright restrooms if... More

It had been a long first day in Lima after arriving at our hotel at 2 am this morning, so at 730 pm we were thinking of just a couple Pisco sours, maybe an appetizer and calling it a night. We found Saqra and stepped through the enticing stone and foliage covered entrance and were accommodated despite having no reservation... More

Such good food and so well presented. Grilled occi on a brilliant yellow mash, lovely hunk of fish braised in beautiful broth, delicious prawns on polenta and a tomatoy cebeche were all high quality dishes. Highly recommended.

We sat outside on the terrace which was lit up by fairy lights from the tree. Tried to order the fish ceviche for a starter but they were out, the waiter recommended the Bonito Tumbo & Palta, which was amazing the fish was so tasty. We also ordered the Grilled Octopus Causa for a starter which I also highly recommend.... More

My wife and I had dinner on April 20th. We shared the fish ceviche which was plenty and outstanding. For entrés my wife had Osso-buco and I had the chicken (Aji de Gallina). Both dishes were excellent and plentiful. Our waitress Ingrid was very pleasant and made sure we were happy with our order. Very pleasant atmosphere, menu has great... More

Description
Saqra, from the Quechua language meaning “little devil”, “naughty” or “mischief maker”. Saqra also refers to one of the characters found in the festival of the Madonna of Carmen in the village of Paucartambo, Cusco. Here, this happy little devil wins the heart of the Madonna with his childish pranks and mischief making as he dances around her playfully in the procession. These ideas inspired the creation of Saqra as a restaurant bar that offers modern Peruvian food where we reinterpret the Peruvian identity in a playful and contemporary key, conjuring up fun and colourful results. Saqra, in essence, is not really a place but a state of mind where this little devil plays a delightful host who wants that all his guests live a unique experience, where they meet again with their the inner child, sometimes long lost.
