My wife and I visited las Tejas on a Thursday night. Needless to say we were not disappointed. It is a rather small venue, but it packs a big impression, the staff were amazing and friendly, the solo guitarist was on point!! Now to the food itself, I ordered the Cuy con papas, which is fried guinea pig with potatoes,... More

We visited to celebrate a birthday and we regret it, the service was too slow, the local itself is small and looks old, the food was so so.

Walked past many times. Finally went down the stairs tonight. Guitar singer made the place different from the start. I think they they various music everynight. Ok the food - Chicaron Calamar (Fried Calamari) was good with a generous portion. The Picanta sauce was hot and spicy - 2 others also for different tastes. The chicken pasta for main was... More

We really enjoyed our two dinners at this little across from our bed and breakfast Hostal El Patio. The food is delicious, the service wonderful and there was even a singing guitarist on Saturday night. We sat outside and relaxed while dining and enjoying the beautiful night outside. All four of our traditional Peruvian dinners were very tasty and we... More

We have been there 3 times, once to just have coffee with Picarones, pastry with a yummie syrup, another time to have a rather late dinner with friends, and there was music it must have been either Friday or Saturday, we sang and had a great time, the third time, I went to have lunch and enjoyed the sea bass... The place invites to confidence and to stay long with friends. The food is delicious and makes you want to come for more. It became one of my favorite places to recommend to people visiting Lima and I just want to get back there to try its delicious "picante de quinua"

Consistent, kind, attentive, professional service. Amazing food. Open wood burning grill on street side outdoor patio on which meats are grilled are a nice touch. Nothing fancy but you sure are treated like you're special. Went 2 consecutive nights. Glad I did

Nice little restaurant in Miraflores. Traditional Peruvian cuisine. Went there to ate my first cuy. It's hard to find a place in Miraflores to eat cuy. It's more outside the tourist zone where you can get the best cuy. However cuy was okay, got a half cuy roasted. Meat was a bit to soft for me but that's my individual... More

With all the good food in lima, I'm disappointed we wasted a meal here. We picked it because ok a Sunday night, lots of fancy places are closed. And this place was insanely close to our hotel. Buuut, that's not good enough. I ordered ceviche...I'm in Peru, it should be a safe bet. The flavor was ok but the fish... More
