Never again! This lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. We were a group of 8 and had been in line for 30 minutes waiting for a table. Finally the table was almost ready and 3 people arrived, without a reservation, but who asked to...call a friendly employee, this employee greeted them with an open smile and passed them in front of everyone who was patiently waiting, placing them on a large table that was being prepared for us! With this kind of attitude, the food could be great, but the lack of respect knew no bounds. We spoke to the lady at the welcome desk and we questioned what happened, which happened without any shame right in front of our eyes, and the lady just shrugged her shoulders and looked at her colleague! Absolutely unbelievable this disregard for customers! What a pity I couldn't have tasted the delicacies of the great Peruvian Chef (whom I admire so much) but we'd rather go to any other restaurant that welcomes us with consideration than subject ourselves to this sad situation!More

It is sad to say but the only nice thing about this place is its interior design. It used to be my favorite when visiting Lima but it is a pity that it went down the hill, I was there last night after arriving from...a long flight I was very excited to go there again however las night will be my last visit to this restaurant. Staff is quite dismissive, we waited 50 minutes for our meal to arrive and when it did it was horrible. Never again!More

I walked by the other day and the terrace looked crowded and with a nice atmosphere so decided I’d go here at a later moment. So I did. I had some beef with fries. The food was so-so. Not bad but also not something spectacular....What annoyed me most was that I was the only guest at tge terrace which apparently made the two waiters think they are on their extra break and be too busy with each others stories instead of asking if my meal was allright and if they could get me something extra. After I asked the bill he was doing quite some effort in negotiating how I would settle the tip. I played dumb and he even took his online translator. So I took out mine to explain in detail why I would not tip. Afterwards I had to go inside for a moment, when returning I was not worthy of even looking at by his colleague. I’d recommend you to go somewhere else. Food is not that special and staff attitude not ok.More

This place is a great dinner spot to have fun and unwind after a long day in Lima. I noticed a lot of locals and tourists a like, and they take great care of both. Our server, Pepe, was a real gem and pampered us....The food was very, very tasty, and portions were large. I highly recommend this place.More

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review I usually just don’t go to the place I didn’t like but don’t want to ruin the place with negative review but this place deserves it. This restaurant qualifies for zero stars on 3...out of 4 indicators of good restaurant. 1. Food quality 2. Price 3. Customer service the only one which was sorta ok was cleanliness. Remember this is supposed to be high end establishment so review is based on that not a street vendor. 1. Food quality, generally the food was completely average but all the meats they brought were super salty to the point that we didn’t even finish it. 2. Price, as I said this supposed to be high end so beware in a country that a family of four can easily feed (to the point of exploding) in a decent place for tops $40, paying $90 for 2 appetizers and 2 entrees was a lot price but here is the kicker they added %18 mandatory gratuity. As far as I know this is done when you have large parties not party of 4 and funny thing is this was charged in a country that tipping is not customary or at least large tips. 3. But the real reason that prompted me to write this review (almost an essay) is the customer service. Originally they brought 2 appetizers and one entree at the same time!!! So we started hoping that the last one will arrive soon, to make it short we finished the first 3 dishes and after half an hour that nothing happened we called the waiter and said never mind the last one but he said no we can’t because it is ready so we said ok fine bring it. 20 minutes later the food didn’t come and that is when I exploded and called the waiter again he figured out I am really pissed (don’t need translations) so in 2 minutes the super salty food arrived and they didn’t even bother to APOLOGIZE the guy didn’t even acknowledge that they screwed up. 4. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON’T GO THEREMore

Peruvian Restaurants often have big portions…but I was not prepared for this…the corn cake with meat was classified as appetizer but it could have fed two…the rococo relleno was super spicy, and the highlight - the mixed plate with heart, liver, corn and fried potatoes...was just amazing. The “Sunday rice” - a platter with green rice, chicken, pork, huancaina potatoes and corn with sauce was just obscene in size, but delicious. The four dishes could have fed at least 6 people. Dessert was also huge - the picarones with extra honey sauce were fingerlicking delicious. Prices were great. The only “bad”: service was really slow.More

Good food, very slow service and no options for children. The prices are high for the quality. Not my favorite place in Lima
