This fun place provides an opportunity to taste a wide variety of authentic Peruvian cuisine. It's a beautiful setting with lots of vintage items on display. The cooking is done out in the open and is combined with staff demonstrating early Peruvian cooking techniques. Don Cucho is there welcoming guests. The only warning is to limit yourself to one Pisco... More

Don Cucho's casa is hidden near historic Pachacamac. Once you find the place, you will be glad you made the effort. Enjoy the peaceful and welcoming atmosphere of the countryside estate. King of the Lomo Saltado, you must try this dish. You can also learn how to cook it yourself and buy some of the ingredients.

The first thing that grabbed me of this place was its decor. I felt I was going back to my childhood seeing the old phones and irons I used to see in my home when I was a little girl. There are homelike touches everywhere you go and that's even before entering the main house. The main house is a... More

Been here with my fiance last sunday, first time here, and definitely is an awesome place to come with ur family, nice rustic restaurant that offers delicious creole food. The service was the fastest i've ever seen, the most important and not very common in restaurants, Don Cucho was there, working hard as his team, attending people. I can realize... More

Very easy drive from Lima. It only take 90 mins. Awesome place to bring your family and have some great local food. The service was solid. Oh.... They plates are HUGE! One plate is enough for 2 people. They serve LOT of food. The chancho al cilindro was SUPERB! Their ceviche was also yummy.

30 minutes from Miraflores, hacienda style restaurant with delicious Peruvian creole options. Try their tamales, chicken chicharron, sweet potatoes fries, caldo de gallina and if you don't like beef they can make a you a chicken saltado which is amazing!!!

Don Cucho is quite a drive out of town - 40m or so - but definitely worth it. Food is absolutely delicious and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. We also saw Gastón Acurio there, Peru's answer to René Redzepi of Noma. If that isn't a stamp of approval, I'm not sure what is!
