This is a great place to have your Pisco sour and familiar food. Excellent fish. Nice location by the Malecon and two areas, one air-conditioned and one with a lively view. The Malecon comes alive at night with children, vendors, tourists and locals.

The food here is really delicious. Tenderloin, fish, chicken, all grilled al carbon. And incredible ceviche. Worth the effort.

Cost 10 soles to get in which included Internet. Very nice place to decompress and relax with shaded pool and beautiful gardens. Go during a weekday - weekends it's packed and loud. Play an eclectic mix of music that can be too loud. They have...More

Two of my friends and I wanted to see the place, so we went there for lunch. We were prepared to pay too much because we liked the film and there is a certain kitsch quality to the place. We arrived at an empty restaurant...More

You reviewing the wrong place! We are La Casa Fitzcarraldo in Av. Marina 2153 not Restaurant Fitzcarraldo in the city!

There seems to be some confusion about which restaurant this is - the website is for the one at Casa Fitzcarraldo but the address is for the downtown one. Anyway. Go to the restaurant at Casa Fitzcarraldo! The mototaxi ride from downtown is ~3-4 soles....More

I've been to Fitzcarraldo a couple of times - once in 2013, once in 2014. The Ceviche and other regional dishes are very good. The atmosphere is good, and can provide you with an escape from the business of Iquitos. It's a fine place, and...More

Chose this spot out of convenience and based on location. Service was pretty average and food was decent. Nothing crazy spectacular but a good option. Also has tables with A/C inside which is nice for when you're still adjusting to the Iquitos humidity.
