Me and a friend had an hour to kill and we were both hungry, so we stopped in a cafe to get some food and figure out what we'd do that day. 30 minutes later our order (pancakes & hot chocolate) still hadn't come and we were getting seriously worried that we'd miss the check out time for our hostel... The food and drink was not great and definitely not worth the wait. After ordering our food we found that we may have made a mistake. The realization hit us when our food hadn't arrived until 40 minutes after we ordered pancakes. My friend ordered chocolate pancakes that tasted like someone thought about chocolate when making the pancakes. We ordered... More

Was quite impressed with this small restaurant. Terribly slow service to take the order in the first instance, which was solved when I started to walk out. Funny that, but why did I have to wait for 14 minutes just to be acknowledged….. POOR. The main course which I had – steak – was very good indeed, well cooked, well... More

This was my first meal in Cusco and a good place for the requisite chicken soup that you will need when you get slammed with altitude sickness. It is the kind of place where you look in the back kitchen and discover someone's grandma cooking for you.

The restaurant serves cheap and tasty Peru foods. Main dish and soup cost no more than 20 Pesos and those are very tasty. Not only sightseers but locals also enjoy meals. # Restaurant name should be Haylliy instead of Haylly.

We were looking for a cheap local place for lunch and this place fit the bill. Service was a tad bit slow but the food was good. Also convenient location right by the Plaza de Armas. We each had one of the very cheap menus of the day. Nothing extra special but good quality.

On our first day in Cusco, we went here for lunch after noticing and advertised Prix Fix menu for 12 soles. ($5?) and seeing the room was rather full. The service was ok, having one young kid service the entire room (of about 8 tables). He got the job done, but it wasn't the quickest. I ordered an alpaca steak,... More

We stopped in for lunch and there was only one other table occupied by a couple. Service was still slow and the food was not that great. In fairness to the restaurant the menú does have in big letters they charge 8% for using a visa. But why eat there when there are so many places that do not add... More
