Not far from the main square we found this restaurant because we were looking for cusqueña food. The place is small and the service good. They will let you try chicha and warm corn first (it tastes like popcorn). I got a pork and my wife a trout dish and both were rich and abundant.

Nice place, bit more expensive. But absolutely worth every soles. Some nice tipical dishes ( aji gallina, cuy, Lomo saltado) but also some other great meals. I had ossobucco, it was very well prepared.

I ate here my first night in Cusco and returned several more times. It is a bit off the main tourist area but the food was very good and the staff was always helpful. It felt homey.

This was a great restaurant to try Cuy at! Our waiter was extremely nice and wanted to know about why we were in Peru, our trip etc, and then showed us to the kitchen where the chef showed us the guinea pig being cooked. It was a really fun time! All of the food we had was delicious! I would... More

I visited on July 5th 2016 with my son and the waitress was super nice. The Chef came out and invited us into the kitchen and he explained the process to cook traditional Peruvian meals. We had one of the best restaurant experiences so far at this place! The food was great, the decoration very nice and honestly, at least... More

Wish we had not eaten here on the first night as most of us were not feeling great (though two of us had the recommended first day soup and it was delicious). Our son had the lomo saltado and it may have been the best one any of us tried while in Peru. Beautifully presented and fresh ingredients. Would certainly... More

Got a recommendation for this place for Traditional Guinea Pig. I had the roasted Guinea Pig as opposed to the fried. Excellent service and food!!

A quiet little cantina on an out of the way street in old Cuzco serving traditional and modern dishes that are delicious. Every meal starts with a glass of Chicha, the Andean corn beer, and it's a real treat. A great place to grab a quiet lunch or a big dinner.

What we loved is that upon our first night in Cusco, exhausted and hungry, the staff had a warm welcome and took time to show us the different corn and potatoes grown in Peru, as well as a trip to the kitchen to see a cuy frying in the pan! My alpaca was delicious.

We walked from our hotel to Deva, it was quiet and most friendly. All three dishes we tried were tasty. They offered us a welcome drink and corn snacks to start. The capchi de habas was tasty as was the baked pork. I think we are off to a great start here in Cusco!

Description
It is the only gourmet restaurant of typical local food. We do not make fusion style. Located in the old palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, we have vegetarian options. In Deva you can found the ancestral cuzco culture through its gastronomy. It is atended by its own owners. We have different Peruvian wines and piscos, and you can enjoy, if you wish so, the traditional "chicha de jora", drink that the Incas offered to the Sun in the Inti Raymi
