The food was good but just about irrelevant, it was the two women doing everything they could to please their guest that I liked.

Stumbled upon it as we arrived late at the hotel, and wanted something decent - 2 of the places we had been recommended were full / close to a party. So being French, well we naturally went there... The menu is not huge, which is good because they do all on demand. The ratatouille was as good as my grand... More

This is a charming little tree-house of a restaurant in the San Blas district of Cusco. Be prepared for a very steep stairway up, then relax and enjoy this surprising menu and service. I hate to order the same thing as my companion but neither of us could resist Alpaca Bourguignon. The woman across the aisle was also happy with... More

I only started missing French food after I permanently left France for work. While I never actively hunt for French cuisine I am always happy to bump into a French restaurant when strolling the streets of a new city. La Caverne del Oriente was a wonderful find. It is easy to see the owners take pride in their work and... More

we had lunch in this little restaurant overlooking the square in San Blas. It's a delight! Warm and welcoming with well prepared food for a good price.

This restaurant has fantastic food. We had the fillet mignon with pork and the alpaca bourguignon. It is amazing the food they can prepare in such a tiny kitchen. The best dining experience we had in our seven days in Cusco.

I've been living in and out of Cusco since 2011 and I remember when this place used to be located in the corner of the plazoleta San Blas - when it was actually more like a caverne. Their new location isn't as novel but the food is the same. Great value and great quality. For 10s you get a really... More

We dropped in here the first time for a drink in the late afternoon and, after glancing over the menu, decided that we'd have to come back again when we were ready for a meal. A couple of days later we made it back again and it was well worth the effort. The place is tiny, probably seating a maximum... More
