Very welcoming by the owner but doesn't live up to its reviews - it is like eating in a mortuary, absolutely devoid of any atmosphere. The food was beautifully cooked and tasty but why do the French have such a reluctance with vegetables. I asked for veg with the duck and it was great but one slice of a new... More

We had a wonderful culinary experience in Peru, loved all the great local cuisine options, but it was such a treat to have a superb French meal in the heart of Cusco. We were definitely underdressed (hiking around all day) but felt totally welcomed. The chef sent out a great complimentary appetizer, and each course was better than the last.... More

After an exhausting day traveling to Cusco, this was comforting and indulgent without being over the top. It's extremely delicious and difficult not to love. We arrived early so we're able to get a table without any issues. Compliments of the chef, we received a little soup sampler - pumpkin with ginger and coconut cream. I would have eaten the... More

We booked for a Saturday night to arrive early to an almost empty restaurant. We cant understand why. The welcome was warm, the food was amazing, the wine by the glass was limited but fine and the service was very good. Perhaps it is location, down a side street. Perhaps it is cost. It was about 100USD for two courses... More

This restaraunt is a rel gem in the heart of the historic area of Cusco. We went as a party of four and two of us went for the 7 course degustation menu and two went for the a la carte menu. I was worried that this could be difficult with two people waiting around due to the unequal number... More

The lamb shank with smoked lentil purée and pear lavender puree was superb. The service was excellent; our only disappointment was that we had no room for dessert.

First of all: the food was excellent! The service was very good, That's the positive side. In the crowded town of Cusco, it must be difficult to make a difference as a restaurant, as the competition is high. As the food and service are good, why was this place completely empty? I can think about one thing: it's fairly overprized.... More

Le Soleil was recommended by TripAdvisor and Fondor's and it was even more then expected. Emailed a reservation and got a response back in about 10 min. French cuisine with a quiet romantic atmosphere. We had escargot, avocado roll, lamb and cream brûlée which were all cooked to perfection and magnificent. Plus a great selection of great French wines to... More

Lovely tartare for 1st course, and very nice lamb shank for main, the sauce a tiny bit on the too sweet side.
