Nothing to write home about and a very limited menu, but decent nonetheless I'd you are craving Japanese food.

Best cost/benefit of region. Mains courses starting from s/16,00, coke for s/3,00. We had karague to start, perfectly made, with a crispy cover and succulent meat inside. Then my Curry Udon arrived with an incredible smell. The soup was rich and full of flavors, the noodle seems to be homemade. On top of all this things, the service was inpecable.... More

The place is very nice on a second floor. The food is really good! ! They have great salad and a variety of Japanese dishes.. I wish it'd be open all day.. They are closed from 3 to 6pm.

Craving japanese food - we decided to give Kintaro a try. We wished we hadnt.. The lunch specials are 20 Soles each - we had a chicken soup and tempura vegetables. The soup was bland as if it was just pot water with no stock or flavourings whatsoever. The tempura veg was ok however did not come with a dipping... More

Kintaro was the go-to place in Cusco when our tummies were a little bit out-of-sorts. The chicken teryaki and the chicken soup with udon noodles were comfort foods that made us feel oh-so-much better. Very relaxing and serene dining room, excellent service and very tasty dishes.

Great place if you are tired of overcrowded Peruvian cafe food. We had the place to ourselves for an early lunch. Its decorated Japanese style . There is no cheap menu del dia. The lunch menu was a choice of a variety of different soups for 20 soles. We tried the noodle/seaweed and the best was the tempura which came... More

The owner of another business in Cusco told me that Kintaro is the ony sushi to be found in Cusco. This is probably true, as it was certainly the only sushi I could find there. Located just 1 minute from Plaza De Armas, Kintaro is located on the second floor above a craft market. The decor is plain and simple.... More

We had teriyaki chicken on rice and it was just delicious. We also had udon, fried chicken and chawan mushi - all very good. We later discovered that it was run by a Japanese who had resided in Cuzco for 10 years. No wonder the food taste authentic Japanese.
