Really enjoyed this place...the ambiance (you instantly feel relaxed when entering the courtyard), the service, and the food! I didn't get an opportunity to try the cuy here, but my friends who recommended Pachapapa say it was the best they had during their time in Peru. Everything I tried was terrific, from the tradtional (alpaca and their trout ceviche, WOW!!)... More

This place was recommended by our tour guide in Lima, he said when in Cusco you got to try the best guinea pig in town and you must go to PachaPapa. It's about 15 mins walk from Plaza de Mayor. It took about 45 mins to serve the tasty, toasted "cuy". While waiting we were served with fresh bread from... More

We walked in for a light lunch and we're asked if we made reservations. We hadn't and didn't think we needed to based on other restaurant's in the city. However they made room for us. Food was great I wish we had bigger appetites there's so much to try. It's a nice place to splurge a but on food.

The restaurant was recommended by the concierge of the Palacio del Inka hotel, something I will advise the hotel to reconsider. Food: 2 - Ordered the avocado appetizer which was excellent. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the corn appetizer. It was so oversalted that I had to return it. Panchita, our waitress, was very responsive. The second time... More

Was staying in the same street and ventured into Pachapapa on a pretty chilly April evening. Courtyard full, so sat in room off the courtyard. Waitress tended to the fire in the room, so all now cosy. Huge wine list appeared - settled on an Argentina Malbec. Wait staff were very attentive and pleasant. Food choice - for entree it... More

We ate twice at Pachapapa--it was close to our hotel. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the service was lovely. We highly recommend this delightful restaurant.

Our drinks were very refreshing! I ordered a potato soup and my husband had a potato appetizer. Both dishes were delicious! However, my husband ordered the cuy as his main dish but our server never told him that it took one hour to cook. We wish he would've told us because we would've ordered something else. There's a lot of... More

This restaurant has a misleading tiny entrance into a small bar which opens into a lovely courtyard with wooden tables facing an outdoor oven. The service is good and friendly but the servers are very busy and diners don't get personal, attentive service. The salad, soup, slow roasted pork and vegetarian calzone were all delicious. The restaurant is located on... More

This was the first meal we had in Cusco and it was memorable. The pizzas were crisp and delicious and the alpaca is not to be missed!
