We followed the recommendation of our online guide and visited this cozy place to have dinner on our first day. The quinoa soup was very delicious and my lomo saltado which is my favorite dish from Peru, after ceviche, were great. The price was okay...More

We are here on the advice that they had good vegetarian options. We had a pizza which was undercooked and quinoa soup which likely had chicken stock. Nice service and lovely courtyard setting, but more for meat eaters...seeing guinea pig come out of the wood...More

I am very sorry that we were not up to our own standards on the day you visited us. The quinoa soup is usually prepared with chicken stock but there is a veggie option as well. Thank you for your comments and regards, Gustavo

We read and heard from many that this was the spot to eat, but my fiancé and I were just not impressed. Maybe because we just got finished with three nights in Ollantaytambo and eating at El Albergue (which is fantastic). I made a reservation...More

Just up the hill from the center of town. We sat outside at this fun and festive spot. Appetizers to dessert, you wont be disappointed. If your looking for a taste of Peru, you’ve found the place.

Awesome food in a lovely garden setting. We tried a whole range of things (including some delicious salads - not the guinea pig) and enjoyed it all. After our trek we went back - it was that delicious. The pisco sours were excellent, too.

Courtyard dining with an indoor space as well. They had a harp-player setting the atmosphere which was cool, too. The menu offers the full gambit of Peruvian cuisine - causa, roasted "cuy," cebiche de trucha, lomo saltado, and alpaca. They also offer a safe place...More

Description
The power of the Pachamama, or Mother Earth, is displayed on the dining tables of PACHAPAPA in the form of the noble foods with which she regales us. Like a ritual pulsing with energy, mealtime becomes a revelation as the aromas of the Andes waft out of the earth oven in the central courtyard, or our slow-cooked dishes emerge from clay pots, infused with generous flavors. Rustic and rural, PACHAPAPA is located in an old mansion in the traditional neighborhood of San Blas, or T'oqokachi, across from the Church of San Blas, the oldest in Cusco. Offering traditional dishes from Cusco and more, in an atmosphere that pays homage to the region’s customs, art, and mystique, local handicrafts and cuisine that have been passed down from generation to generation are now ready for the spotlight on the international stage. Come to Pachapapa and discover the gifts of this magical earth and the flavors that forge our local culture. We hope to see you soon.
