I have gone to Wunderbar many times and plan on going back many more. It is a great little bar with book exchange, pool table (for a fee), foosball (") and board games (you have to request). Good variety of drinks. The young waiter who...More

We have visited Wunderbar several times. We like sitting outside and have cocktails or a beer...maybe an appetizer. They have a cute garden setting outside. On this visit we ate dinner inside the restaurant and were a little underwhelmed with the food. I ordered a...More

I had read about this place and we happened to stumble upon it at dinner time. It’s centrally located in the old part of town along the steps from the river. I ordered the meat lasagna while my wife ordered the spaghetti Bolognese daily special....More

My friend and I went there twice. The first time was OK, the terrace is pleasant and the mixed drinks were average (the glasses were not very full). The second time, we sat at the bar and ordered screwdrivers (vodka and orange juice). The bartender...More

Seems there has been some misunderstanding due to language problems on both sides which I would like to put clear: The local guy who was accompaning you at the bar (which I happen to know well and who is a regular customer) ordered a screwdriver...More

I have been in Cuenca for a long time, with the first time being in 1997. Wunderbar was around then, probably one of the only bars in town at that point, and it's amazing that it has stood the test of time. It remains a...More

We just happened upon this restaurant walking up the stairs to Calle Larga (Hermano Miguel). Located about halfway up. The entrance is a little deceiving. Usually, there are a couple of throwbacks to the 60’s sitting outside the entrance selling braided bracelets and playing the...More

This place is great for some things, interesting folk hanging around entrance, outdoor tables in a kinda cool backyard area. Also not cool in other areas, really weird opening times that are often not honoured. Staff that seem to not really care about life let...More

Love the food and atmosphere. A great place to watch a futbal game or just sit and relax with friends. It gets busy at night but then go play a game of pool and listen to the music.
