I've been going to Sebas for a few days now and it feels to me like the top coffee place in town. It's not only located in such a beautiful area of Cuenca with the colonial square, church, and buildings, it offers a great menu and good coffee. While the outside seating is not very large (but recommended when the... More

This is our favorite breakfast joint in Cuenca. There are big breakfasts to keep you filled with energy for all sorts of adventures with pancakes galore. Lunch is also packed with choices. The owners are great, always smiling and ensuring you have a great experience.

This cafe serves excellent coffee and breakfast. I can't speak to their other meals because I only had breakfast here. This is a place where you will find a mix of locals and gringos. Try the yogurt parfait - truly fantastic. I wish I could have that everyday. I ordered from this restaurant take out the first time I tried... More

The first time I came for lunch and the positive experience I had brought me back a second time to try their breakfast. After reading all the positive reviews I started to wonder why I hadn't checked this place out yet. So, one Sunday, I decided that would be a good place to try for lunch. The place is run... More

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and always had a great meal. Whether it is breakfast or lunch the food is always good. They are usually busy because of the great food so don't come here looking for a fast food experience. If you are lucky you will get one of the seats outside so you can... More

Very good food, including the best cream of broccoli soup I've ever had. Very popular with the expats.

We always visit the cafe at least once per trip to Cuenca. Better food, prices, and service than most places around. Gluten free options are not a problem. Love this place.

I've eaten at San Sebas cafe three times now. It's top quality food and there's a good selection of good beer. If you want a great snack or Tapas try the Onion rings. The decor is comfortable and the seating outside overlooks Plaza de San Sebastion. I would have given it a five but I feel it's a little over... More
