Fantastic value. Get the empanada con verde con queso. Order a glass of naranjilla (fresh juice) and a slice of Passion fruit mousse cake for a total of 6 bucks.

It's so unfortunate to visit a "yummy" place and be treated so appalling. Our experience at Fruteria Monserrat was a bad one. First, we ordered grapefruit juice and they served us orange juice covered in a lid, never saying it was orange juice. When we came to exchange it they told us "oh, yeah we just didn't have anymore grapefruit... More

Fast food appearance but quality ranks with the best we had in our 12 days in Ecuador. Portions were generous, tasty, even presentation was good. This was our last meal in Quito and our only regret is that we didn't find it earlier.

Their fruit salads are a tradition in Quito, food is fresh made, with high quality products. Also the bolones and lunch options are good ones, very familiar style.

This restaurant offers delicious appetizers as "bolon de verde" and fruit salad. They have been my favorite food since I was a child. The ice cream is also tasty and cheap and you have many choices. It has a traditional decoration and it´s nice to go there with the family. The restaurant has many branches.

This is one of our favorite places to eat fresh fruit with ice cream and empanadas in Quito. There is always room for seating although parking is limited. We love the empanadas de morocho they serve in this cafe!

Yep the place is a bit touristy but you still sit around local folks. They offer breakfast, fruit salats, cakes, empanadas and a few local dishes. We went there to try the hot chocolate. It is served in a huge pot and comes along with an empanada. We both loved the chocolate which is rich in flavor, creamy and with... More
