I was in on a Sunday night and they were the only place open serving alcohol. I paid $7 for hot heineken. She said it was all the beer they had but other people were drinking other beer that was cold. I guess that's what we get for being out on a Sunday night.

we stopped in here for a drink during the soccer game. The service was fine but the margaritas were pretty bad. I am not sure they even had tequila- it tasted like some other alcohol. Also it was happy hour and we still paid $9 for two. Pretty expensive for what you got.

A great place to watch sports. Not generous service, food not worth the price. And prices are very high compared to Ecuador.

I would not return to Chelsea Bar. Our waitress was very rude and the place took very long to deliver our food. The music is very loud and we constantly had locals coming on and begging us to buy their cigarettes.

Chelsea is a fantastic place for 2 for 1 drink offers. They mix a great mojito in 3 different flavors and offer a bunch of other pretty tasty drinks, like their tequila sunrise, on the 2 for 1 menu. The food seems like a huge rip off here, like most other places in Plaza Foch. The only thing I've ever... More

Went to Chelsea Bar for the Ecuador v. Peru match. $15 per person minimum, fine. They don't let you pay as you go, as you have to show your receipt to the bouncer on the way out. At the conclusion of the game we asked for our tab. First they added 3 beers ($15!!!!!) to our tab (we were only... More

We were ushered in here with promises of happy hour (two words that a broke student can't resist) but it ended up just being 3 choices (the best of which being tequila sunrise). Everything was over priced and the service was bad. With so much around don't waste your time.

Typical of any tourist type square the food is horrible. We had the empanadas which tasted of freezer burn and chicken fingers. This place wouldn't survive a week in the states with bad food and slow service. I could have drank 2 beers in the time it took to get one. Good place to people watch tho and in the... More
