Concitering ecuador produces so much coffee, it is a wonder why a good cup os so hard to find. Happy Monday Coffee will not disapiont. A bit more expensive then most places, but nothing that A US citizen would find over the top. I enjoyed the atmospher and the real caffine buzz!

We didn't eat here, although our guide said the pizza is good. But, we did hit happy hour with a smoking deal. 3 cervaza for the price of 1. They let me and DH share (who can drink 3 beers?) Very funky place, quite small with weird seating. I am 'old' and it's geared for younger folks! Music was great... More

We were looking for a place to grab a simple lunch and a beer. It was Monday, so we were drawn in by the name. The menu was very limited, but the place had a very fun vibe and the waitress was very friendly.

Small and crowded bar/restaurant in the Old Town. $2 for a Caneloza, a rum-based local drink that was good.

Very inexpensive drinks at happy hour. In the old town and close to ever watchful local police. The local drink here was very good

New owner? The Pizza was a tiny (10cm) cold and tasteless piece of nothing, totally overpriced and 100% NOT self-made. Terrible. Then we asked for a Sprite to drink. They hadn't....OK a Fanta then...they also hadn't!! What is this for a bar where you only serve Cola and Beer? And then the music was so incredible loud, you weren't able to... More

This little swedish / ecuadorian place is a true gem! Homemade tasty food, great drinks, cool music and great staff made our visit here a real treat. Kept on coming back during our week long stay in Quito. Highly recommended!

Everyday is a "Happy Monday" at "Happy Mondays"!! The cafe, owned by a friendly and welcoming young couple; Jakob from Sweden and his wife, susy, from Ecuador, have created a place with true ambiance. It's on the corner of the two main streets that cross through "La Ronda". Their place is located in the part of the Old Town that... More

I went to visit this small café on my third trip to Quito/Ecuador and was really surprised to find a good alternative to the otherwise quite noisy places in Quito. The place is clean, relaxed and is run by a really friendly couple of ecuadorian and swedish origin. They serve a mix of ecuadorian and swedish food (with some, for... More

The Happy Mondays, a newly established café, is located in the centre of La Ronda - Quito’s most historic district. It is unique in its style and architecture. It is a popular hangout with locals and tourists alike. One can enjoy a cup of Loja Espresso, a cold beer (or two), canelazo (a popular, traditional, hot beverage), juicy hamburgers, original pizzas or some homemade breads and/or pastries. The Café is alive to the sound of Rock and sometimes Ecuadorian Folklore live performances. The establishment has WiFi, a small library of books for exchange and where information about Quito and Ecuador is shared.
