Recently had a business lunch at Lua, one of my colleagues recommended the restaurant. He is a regular and ordered for our group, everything was superb, beautiful presentation, perfect flavors and great service. They have an excellent wine selection as well

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Quito. I recommend all the tiraditos, the risotto, and warm ceviche. Piscos are a must!

Creative contemporary Peruvian dishes set in a wonderful old house with a modern twist. Service was nice altough a bit slow, but the highlight is on the seafood, which was extremely fresh and deliciously prepared. My husband and I treated ourselves to a wonderful anniversary lunch and will definitely be back soon.

We ate at the top restaurants, including Zazu and Urko, and found Lua's to be the best. Didn't try to be too extravagant (like Zazu), or too over-the-top creative (like Urko), but very high-end excellent dishes.

We went to Lua because it had a high rating. We were disappointed. The food was mediocre, service slow, and, compared to other restaurants in Quito, high priced. We would not recommend it.

This is a beautiful high end restaurant in an area of other such places. There were only twofold us and we split four appetizers. Excellent ceviche, grilled octopus with calamari in an excellent sauce, oxtail ravioli in a tomato cream sauce in tirado tuna (raw) in a great sauce. Highly recommend.3

You enter a beautiful old row house decorated in a very modern way. There is a beautiful paved way to an amazing cellar. There are several rooms where to lounge or eat. But the most important is the food, refined, well proportioned, innovative, and product oriented. You will enjoy it!

Modern but locally influenced cuisine. Excellent menu, delicious food, beautifully presented. Wine by the glass limited but the staff are accommodating. I did not care for the white by the glass. The staff asked the owner if I could have Chardonnay and he agreed. I had two glasses and enjoyed them very much. I was not charged for the wine... More

The food is very authentic, the service is beyond great, Marco Vinueza is a fantastic mixologist with so many years of experience in the hotel industry. He will make you any "pisco"....try the Eucalyptus Pisco. All the tiraditos are really good, main dishes, and desert. The flavor are very balanced, all the details are very well taken care. Very personalized... More

This is my third time in Quito and I always felt frustrated with the quality of the restaurants, even after eating in some of the supposedly best places of the city. That changed when I went to Lua. The restaurant is complete in every sense: excellent food, great atmosphere, good wine selection, excellent service. So far, the best place in... More
