We had a long working day and needed a place few steps from the hotel. The concierge recommended this Italian spot. As usual, I was concerned about having to deal with the usual starchy, sad, cheap Italian-ish stuffs. Glad that I was wrong. Good appetizers: grilled octopus was much better than the soaked in sauce mozzarella (a no-no for me).... More

The food was really good at Pavarotti, but the prices are also very high. We paid $50 each, including some wine. I had the veal scallopini, which was very sophisticated and tasty. My partner had the shrimp linguine and thought it was good but not great. I thought the dessert was exceptional -- they called it a bavaroise, but it... More

Service was good, the offering was great, mostly the seafood related dishes which were superb. Drinks could be better though. A bit steep on the bill though.

The only thing that could be considered a downside to this restaurant is it's location. Not in the towncenter and that's why wé went there; almost next to our (NH) hotel. The service and staff are very professional, the atmosphere is wonderful (no opera) and most of all, the food is excellent! Super fresh, high quality, beautifully served and prepared... More

Very quiet and no atmosphere. Food was okay, wouldn't rave about any of it: mushroom soup, calamari (very tough), spaghetti bolognaise and fillet .....all quite average as far as taste goes. Most tasty part of the meal was the olive oil and balsamic vinegar for the bread. Service was good, although the waiter did pour white wine in with my... More

We were a large family gathering and the concierge at the Swiss Hotel recommended the Pavarotti. We weren't disappointed: excellent food, wine and service with the wait staff going the extra mile to insure sleeping children were accommodated in chairs pushed together without scandalizing the other patrons. The final bill was on the high side but seeing we had consumed... More

It looked very fancy from the entrance -- large wine glasses, white napkins, etc. The service was quite good, although they were ready to take the order before we were done looking at the menu and wine list. The food was quite good. We had a decent Caesar salad, various pasta dishes, and a red snapper in a tomato sauce.... More

The concierge at our hotel, the Radisson, recommended this restaurant which is right around the corner from the hotel. We weren't all that hungry but needed something before bedtime and it was dark out so not a good idea to walk around very far. Typical with Quito so be forewarned. The place had a few tables full, one with a... More

We read the reviews from other TA members and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was very nice; we went early (~ 6:30) as it was our first day in Quito and were tired. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I had the Caesar salad which was good although the croutons were soft. My husband had the... More

Tiene mejor decoración que comida. Demasiado ajo y pasta a medio cocinar. / The place is nice but the food is not so good. Too much garlic and the pasta was "medium rare".
